You gotta change the name of two of the DDSopt batch files... I spent over an hour pulling my hair out trying to test DDSopting non-vanilla STEP mods and not being able to even figure out how to get any extracted mods sorted until I figured out that the problem was this:
Some of the "Batch_Files_for_DDSopt_guide_v2.61-beta" batch files need to be renamed. Specifically, "4_Mod_Sorting&Pre-optimization-beta.bat" and "4_Mod_Sorting&Pre-optimization.bat" These get run through the command prompt, and they do not work with the ampersand. I do not know how no one else noticed this. Has anyone else ever actually tried to optimize their STEP mods? :)
Edit: Oh geez... just noticed there's a v2.62 up now that has one of those files already renamed without the ampersand...
Oh man... the "2_Pre-optimization.bat" file has been updated also. Should I be re-running my vanilla BSAs through this? What changed between v2.61 and v2.62 for that file?
