All Journeys Begin With The First Step?!

Hi all,

 

I'm not 'new' to STEP or SR, but when I was looking at the SR:LE guide which is in progress, the first thing I noticed was "All Journeys Begin With The First Step..."

 

Now with all the talk of STEP being made into a bare base onto which users may install packs, I am wondering whether SR:LE too is such a pack?

 

Simply, my question is, do I have to install STEP, and then add mods from SR:LE, or am I totally over-thinking this?

SR is STEP related but is otherwise a different project. So just follow the SR:LE guide as is. SR is not designed to work as a pack add on. SR does work well as a base for other packs to fit on top of, but will eventually obviate the need for further addons as it grows.
