Question

Posted

Ok, so let me start off by saying that I'm playing below the "optimized" settings from geforce experience, so it should not lag or stutter.... Whenever I look down or up in game, the game fps drops and stays that way until I look straight ahead again, and still stutters when looking straight ahead sometimes. I've tried disabling vsync, and it works, it's just that the fps just fluctuates so much the physics are crazy and it stutters even more.... And there is no "adaptive vsync" option in the nvidia control panel. This was happening in vanilla game by the way.

GT755m GDDR5 2GB, 8GB DDR3 RAM, Intel Core I7, 2.4 Ghz, but overclocks itself using turbo boost tech from intel to 3.4 Ghz. Can anyone help?

Have you made sure that the game is actually using the Nvidia card when you play and not the intel one ? Seems to be a common problem with laptops these days.

If you use an injector or ENB then it will switch to the Intel graphics. Make sure that you don't have the d3d9.dll in your Skyrim directory.

If you do then change the name of it to d3d9orig.dll and then download the Optimus fix from the nexus and put that d3d9.dll in your Skyrim folder.

Tried it, it fixed in some areas, but it still does the same thing in most....

I'll also add that in the mod Tanner's Treehouse, the game runs full constant 59-60fps.... Weird.
