Question

Posted

First, sorry for my English.

I'm using Mod Organizer and added this to the skyrim.ini in the MO profile directory:

[Papyrus]

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=1

But i can't find any papyrus logs in %UserProfile%/Documents/My Games/skyrim or in Skyrim game directory or somewhere else. This INI really works, my other changes in this file works well. I didn't change MO setting to store savegames in MO profile directory, so saves are stored in %UserProfile%/Documents/My Games/skyrim/. There SKSE logs in this directory but no Papyrus logs.

Edit: just mentioned that i posted this to wrong forum, sorry. May be moderators move this to appropriate forum.

Am i need to change anything else?

I´ve used papyrus logging for Automtic Variant since MO 0.10.3 last year it works for me. Haven´t been playing Skyrim for a while and I´m away for a week so I can´t test it atm for you. In the section ´the virtual filing system´ in the advanced tab of the MO wiki is explained how the VFS of MO works and what files/directories are virtualized. Can you test something for me. Please start Free commander from MO and use it to open the regular skyrim ini files (they are virtualized). Its explained in the ´third part programs´tab of the MO wiki. Do the papyrus ini changes as well as the other ini changed show up there?

Sorry, it's my stupid, stupid mistake. I added "[Papyrus]" section to the end of the skyrim.ini, but didn't notice only two strings in middle of file:

[Papyrus]

bEnableLogging=0

Now it works, and there is a LOT of script errors from deleted mods...

Thanks, wolverine2710!
