Humans have no eyes

Hey guys. i just installed step and i think its amazing apart from 1 thing. and thats the fact that all the humans have no eyes! beast races are fine its just nords imperials etc. Please help me i cant play like this. (And by no eyes i mean its looks like they have been ripped out and all i can see is the eye socket.)

Well i have a i5 2500k at 3.30ghz a gtx 670 with 2GB vram and 8gb ram. i use nexus mod manager . i use all the mods on step. i dont know what you mean with the 6th one. i use about around 7 mods that are not from step. here is my load order. and pics. All the esp's at the end? Are they always there when you start? BOSS doesn't always recognize everything so you need to put some stuff in order on your own.

Well most of them are not installed and none of them have anything to do with eyes. So i don't know.

I noticed that you have a bunch of redundant plugins, to all those masser and secunda plugins, just pick one and unchecked or delete the rest. STEP recommends x.5. Also the Lanterns of Skyrim plugins, there are five redundant plugins. Step recommends the default plugin, so uncheck or delete the other four.

 

Try to sort out your load order and then maybe it will help narrow down where the eye problem comes from.

I use nexus mod manager mainly but i can also use wrye smash.

Okay, it's good that you are using wrye smash, but it can get messy trying to install mods with two mod managers. They can mix up files and stuff which can be really hard to keep track of.

 

The power of wrye is really unmatched, so I'd recommend staying with it eventhough it has a steep learning curve.

 

Try the AA thing though first and then if that doesn't work, we can go from there.

Hey i tried the FXAA and AA thing and it didnot work :(. also when i disabled the lanturns of skyrim stuff it would not let me load my save and i had to go back to the start in the live another live mod. no big deal though.

Okay well because you use two mod managers I'm thinking that you may have installed any textures incorrectly. Try installing whatever you are using again and make sure you do it properly. Natural Eyes is the mod with eye textures. Use wrye bash to install it, makes it very easy.

Well i did not install any mods with wrye bash i mainly use it to find out why crashes happen and stuff. so would that still be necessary?

Well no, but as you get more into modding NMM will limit what you can do. You can try to install with NMM, just always click no for upgrade and yes for overwrite.

I uninstalled and reinstalled like you said but it did not work. i even tryed i diffent eye mod but still had the problem what can i do now? Not sure if this has anything to do with it but i did not install step on a vallia game i did it on a modded game but i did disable all my mods however one of my mods was a eye mod called covereyes.
