Minor problem in step installation process

Question

Posted

So I decided it was time to play Skyrim again, and started with a vanilla install (with all DLCs except the HiRes pack, My vid card only has 1 gig of ram, so decided to forego that for now).

I ran across a minor issue during the install, in that you cannot run the baseline after doing the 2.D. Fixes installations, you get a CTD.

After running BOSS, I see that this is being caused by the options which are recommended for Dual Sheath Redux. These options require three other mods to be installed, which are not installed until:

2I (Weapon De-LARP Project)

2M (Non-Essential Children and Paarthurnax Dilemma)

So this makes it impossible to run the Benchmarks between each major area.

I don't think you need all those mods, especially the ones under 2M.

According to Dual Sheath Redux page at Nexus the requirements are as follow:

Skyrim v1.9.32.0 or greater

SKSE v1.6.13 or greater

Java Runtime Environment 7 update 21 or greater

XP32 Maximum Skeleton (Recommended) or other skeleton which supports left hand weapon, shield on back, and staff on back nodes.

BOSS unless disabled via this method.

I'm probably gonna start my installation today, I'll post back once I've reached that step.
