Why are there 2 Draugr Overlords a Bleak Falls Barrow?

Hi,

 

I'm playing Skyrim on my flatmates computer (as many specs as I could determine below) and I'm encountering an issue at Bleak Falls Barrow where there is already a Draugr Overlord in the room and another breaks out the coffin when I get the dragon shout. I'm not sure if this is an issue with a mod she has installed or a type of bug/glitch?

 

If this is caused by a mod (there's a lot of them and I'm not sure where to start looking) do you have any idea which it could be and if it's possible to turn it off? I don't want to start messing around with things but if I knew what it is I can ask her if she can remove it/change it though I'm not sure if that would affect her saved games?

 

I know I'm probably not providing all the information necessary to figure this out but I'm new to PC gaming so any advice is appreciated.

Well, it looks like she might have installed a mod that adds higher level enemies or something along those lines. The one that pops out the coffin is supposed to be there, he's basically the boss of that barrow. Without knowing what mods she has installed it would be hard to say which mod it is.

 

You could post the load order and someone would probably know what mod might be the cause.

She mentioned something about Deadly dragons, deadly monsters and ASIS (I think).

 

How do I find out the load order?

What level is your character? The boss in bleak falls increases in difficulty with level.

 

For example, one time I went there for the first time and there was a Dragon Priest.

I'm only level 3 as I'm not that far in (I've played Skyrim for XBox which I why I noticed the extra Overlord).

It is because of ASIS. You have more spawns enabled.

With the default settings then there is a small chance that bosses also get duplicated.

(I even tried with 3 dudes standing there! Not fun!)

 

This is one reason why I disabled that feature again, since it was just to immersion breaking.

Ok, if I get my flatmate to remove ASIS will earlier saves work normally or will I have to start a new game? I've got a save from before I entered the Barrow.

You don't need to remove the whole mod - ASIS is a highly customisable mod. You can just turn off the extra spawns. I cannot recall fully, but there may be even a way to turn off the extra spawns for bosses only - but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
