iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes is a key not in the step guide, which might be worth looking into, the blog gives bad information on what to set it to.  For 8GB RAM it should be 2147483647.  Not sure what the values should be for lower RAM, or more for that matter.

The shadow tweaks also look nice but are more for the extreme step level.

Wouldn't the game already know the max without having to set that?

Also yes, I did hear that was the maximum # in the ini before issues arose.

I'd like to hear what the experts think on this forum for sure.

Well, I'm not claiming to be the expert, and I think most of us non-Bethesda employees are all somewhat in the dark about these settings, but from what I've learned about the creation kit, it seems that this setting in particular has many misconceptions.  Here is the official definition, and it seems that the RCRN team may also have misunderstood this one.

We don't have enough inside knowledge to confirm ini settings are good or bad with 100% certainty. But given the official definition and warning about this tweak, and given that we don't include ini tweaks until we have really good evidence to support them, I would say it's not recommended.
