bitdman Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Do 'mismatched files' have a negative effect on the game? I'm referring to the files that show in wrye bash as mismatched. And can someone explain what "higher" or "lower" means, the bash readme and guide is kinda vaque and confusing .
0 Farlo Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 The advanced readme defines a mismatch as "Files which are present in the data directory, but which aren't identical to the selected package's version of those files." This can be fixed by right-clicking the header bar and selecting "Anneal all". Note that this usually happens if you edit a file WB has installed and will overwrite whatever is in the Data folder with the version in the archive. Off-topic: Could you please shorten your signature? It's quite long. You can also add your system specs to the Wiki and link to it instead of writing it out here.
