STEP Announcement Emails?

We've been floating the idea of sending out brief announcements via email whenever there's a new release and we wanted to get everyone's opinion on it.  We're hoping this can provide a helpful update for those less regular users so that everyone knows when we update STEP without having to constantly check here or the Nexus. 

 

The email will likely be very brief, mostly pointing to the appropriate posts/Wiki pages, and will only happen as often as we update STEP.  Of course you'll be able to "unsubscribe" from these emails through the "Edit Options" page in the UserCP.

So far the response seems pretty positive, so I think it's safe to expect an email for the v2.2.1 release.
