DynDoLODx64 error with SkyrimVR, non-x64 version runs fine

Question

Posted (edited)

Trying to get DynDoLOD to run for my SkyrimVR game with mods but it keeps giving errors shortly after I start running it (after I confirm the settings).  Textgen works fine and the game runs fine as well but says "dyndolod could not load dyndolod_worlds" which makes sense since it never finished and had an error.

After more testing I tried running the non-x64 versions of textgen and dyndolod and they work fine, no errors.  Only DynDoLODx64.exe is giving errors and fails to run.

Using DynDoLOD v2.63

Here's pastebin of the the logs:

bugreport.txt: https://pastebin.com/3PQQz9MX

DynDoLOD_TES5VR_log.txt: https://pastebin.com/jAxgXzdL

*note: I didn't clear the logs (don't know if your supposed to or not) so there's 4 sessions in it.  First 3 are x64 version last one is non-x64.

Updated to newest version (updated both the standalone and resources to 2.65) and issue persists.  Run the x64 version of Texgen and DynDoLOD and DynDoLOD gets an error and does not finish, run the non-64 versions and works fine.

Here's the new pastebins:

bugreport.txt: https://pastebin.com/r73B2Egr

DynDoLOD_TES5VR_log.txt: https://pastebin.com/833VeRKC

*Note: Pastebin would not let me include the whole log due to size limit so I only included the logs for the x64 version, I made sure I did not to remove any part of the run.

Also forgot to mention.  When the x64 version creates an error, after closing DynDoLOD it saves an esp, the output folder only contains the esp and esm no meshes or textures.

If you could test if this version of DynDOLODx64.exe makes any difference that would be great.

Right now use the x86 version to generate LOD for the game.

Unrelated, but I noticed there is a ESL in your load order.  I don't think Skyrim VR supports that. It will probably just treat it as ESP. However DynDOLOD treats it as ESL and so there might be confusion about its records if they are any used in the generated DynDOLOD plugin.

The new exe works like a charm!  Ran fine and went ingame and looks like its working.  Thanks a bunch Sheson!  Out of curiosity what was the problem?  If its not too hard to explain.

Also on the ESL, I'm following AerowynX's guide.  The mod in question is a sound overhaul for dragons and only contains audio files and an ESP that has an ESL flag.  Mod organizer shows it will adhere to ESP load order but the records will be loaded into ESL space.  I have yet to encounter any issues with it ingame and I can always remove that ESL flag if I ever need to.

Good to hear. The error had to do with multi-threading and simultaneous memory access. The fix is now included in version 2.66
