Question

I have been using MO for a long time now and I am pretty familiar with how it works, however I got an error recently that I have never seen. To be honest most errors I understand, missing masters, overwrite folders etc, however this is just a general error that persists through restarts and reboots while my game appears to be stable. The full text is as follows:

DEBUG (22:34:48.0207): createfile w: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\DATA\SOUND\fx\ambr\house creaks\ambr_house_woodcreaks_12.wav -> F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\mods\Audio Overhaul for Skyrim 2.5.1\SOUND\fx\ambr\house creaks\ambr_house_woodcreaks_12.wav (80000000 - 3) = 000010F8 (0)

Two questions, what is this telling me and what can I do to correct it. This appeared after a TES5 Error crash.

Welcome to STEP @Xeir

MO logs can be confusing at times until you look at them logically as though they are someone telling you things "as they happen"! So taking your logs here this is what MO is telling you:

ERROR (22:34:52.0065): "I'm trying to delete a *.nif belonging to this plugin but something at the moment is stopping me."

DEBUG (22:34:52.0072): "Tried again and now it's okay."

INFO (22:34:52.0072): "Alright let's move onto the next task."

Of specific interest is the time signature at the start of each line. Notice the very short interval between the first entry and the next when the task is completed. When you look at the same sort of detail with the next file, the *.dds, you may notice that the 'ERROR' was logged at almost the same instant that it was then resolved, according to the next two lines.

Well something is hindering the process on those files but as it appears you have Steam, Skyrim and MO installed outside of any UAC folders, I'm not sure what may be doing that, possibly an overly zealous AV package? Truthfully if your game isn't experiencing any issues I'd just ignore it.

I do have some issues but I think it might have something to do with my SSD I have Skyrim/MO on. I keep getting random missing texture issues, I can relaunch, not reload, and it goes away. I can play for a while then another one will crop up, it's pretty random and I have disabled all my extra textures aside from the Skyrim HD DLC and it still happens.

In any case thanks for the assistance.

Try disabling your antivirus software while playing to see if this helps. It may be an issue with the antivirus software locking the files while it scans them effectively keeping the game from loading them in time to be used.
