Following the STEP guide, I quick-auto-cleaned Dawnguard.esm twice, but when I attempted the manual cleaning I couldn't 'Apply Filter for Cleaning' per instructions in the AFKMods guide. (I'm using TES5Edit v4.0.2) Can I safely edit the records without applying the filter, or should I just skip manually cleaning Dawnguard.esm? Merging Advanced Recon Question

In the Merging Advanced Recon section, there's a list of six ESPs to be merged. Once that is done it gives a list of ESPs to be deactivated by moving them to the "Optional ESPs Box". "Advanced Recon Tech.esp" is one of the ESPs is in the list to be deactivated, but was not in the list to be merged. Should it be included in the merge list, and if not do I still want to deactivate it?
