Dear awesome guide makers, any idea how long the guides servers are likely to be down? Been well over day now for me. Is that normal and any idea of timescale they normally take to get back up and running.. days, weeks?? Halfway through installing and chomping at bit to progress. -
Sadly experienced the servers down for the past couple of days so cant access any of the step guides including neovalen and darth etc. Very frustrating especially when half way through installing :( hope these server issues can be resolved somehow. BTW you guys work is amazing with these guides. Thank you so much.

Part way installing this guide and have just installed ICW. Im not sure where to put the Immersive College of Winterhold - No Save on Teleport Script Fix? Is this file merged into ICW file itself in MO or in root skyrim data file somewhere else? The fix archive contains data/scripts folder and no such filetree in ICW itself so just wanted to double check. -

Just completing the prerequisites page for this guide. For the last part "restore NPC visuals" the previous scripts are specifically requested within the guide to be installed within scripts folder for TES5Edit. This last one is not stated to be put anyway like the others so little uncertain whether to do same as previous ones (ie. place in TES5edit scripts folder) or if should do something different with it? Could you please clarify for avoidance of doubt? -

Hi Guys, I am up to installing dual sheath redux in guide. There is an option when installing DSR to include frostfall. The guide says yes to campfire but no to frostfall? I cannot see any obvious reason for this? I cant imagine it is an oversight and must be intended but could someone explain why not include frostfall option when installing? -

Hi guys, hope you can help me. I have the memory patch in my skse.ini as follows: [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 However using shesons memory blocks log it only shows 512mb for block 1 not 768? As a follow up i checked my skse/steam/loader.log and it says " default heap = 768MB (effective 512MB if not preloading animations)" I have no idea what the part in brackets means? The memory patch appears to be working as first part says 768 but is it being reduced to 512mb? I have no idea if i have 768 or 512mb. The memory blocks log suggests only 512mb? help -

Ah that would explain it Neo, thank you for clarifying. Is there any harm in still placing the patch in skse ini as before, belt and braces so to speak? -

Forgive me but just starting fresh install using this guide. However under SKSE ini tweaks I cannot see any reference to Shesons memeory patch. I am sure there is a very good reason for this and I have probably missed something looking through guide but for piece of mind could someone clarify why not included please? -
Thanks Guys, so when you say create my own CR patch do you mean go through the manual steps mentioned in Neo's guide ignoring those parts for mods i do not have rather than remove stuff from his premade CR?
-
Nebulous forgive me as i am new to creating conflict patches using tes5edit. i understand the basics but could you explain in dummy terms about creating dummy esp for use with Neo,s patch as i know I will not be using all of the mods in his guide and I dont really understand how to go about creating the dummy esp from a texture mod as you suggest? Also once achieved this and fooled MO presumably these dummies have to be left in for the CR patch to work but its adding to my esp count and i am conscious of the 255 limit. Is there a betetr way, eg, edit his patch somwhow and remove reference to the missking mods? Thank you in advance

You guys see that skyrim special edition being released 28/10/16 running 64 bit. Very exciting news. Has improved graphics etc but importantly improved stability as 64 bit. I understand mods should work but any SKSE/scripts will need updating/changing to work with 64 bit. Not sure how much work involved but hopefully mods will work because new improved stable 64 bit skyrim without our wonderful mods will not be worth playing. Watch this space!! -

Can i ask has anyone used sounds of skyrim as opposed to audio overhaul and have any views? I have looked at sound comparison of the 2 mods and personally prefer SOS but am concerned it has not been updated for some time whereas AOS is more updated and has patches. Is AOS likely to be safer/more stable? -

Hello Neo, firstly massive thank you for your amazing guide. It is invaluable to novice modders like myself and I really appreciate all your hard work. My question concerns the optimized textures both vanilla and dlc in the early part of your guide. It says on the mod page for Optimised textures (linked in your guide) that these replace the bethesda high resolution texture packs which are not therefore needed. Indeed in your guide you say to uncheck the archive bsa's. So why do we need to install the high res DLC texture packs at all if using the optimized textures? Thank you in advance for clarifying.
