  1. So further fiddling has showed me that the bsa is no different than the loose files. no surprise there. but what i did find out is that if i set fixparallaxbugs=false, the texture morphing as I walk ceases, but is replaced with the textures jerking suddenly when i change angles. this is no better.
  2. so yeah, I am using the loose files. hmmm... Maybe i could try the BSA? couldn't hurt anymore than it already is yeah?
  3. ^I will look into this when I get home this afternoon
  4. So, I weaned myself of the skooma, and made fixparallaxterrain=false, but it still happens. Any other ideas? And thanks for the help.
  5. As the title suggests, when I'm traversing over rocks, if I look down at them while moving the textures seem to warp and flow. Is this normal? I'm guessing not. What would be causing this?
  6. Well fug. Guess I'll ditch it. That's a shame, cuz Vurt's trees could def. Stand to be taller
  7. I haven't switched to lite just yet, but the few hours of playtime I had with the full version ended up crashing a few times (no more than 3 in about 4 hours) I'm not sure, but I think its just too much for the game. Besides SBT, the only things different from my game compared to the guide are I have Vividian set to the highest setting, along with the Realistic Water 2 ENB textures set to ultra instead of high. The crashes would only happen when I was running around in heavily forested areas.
  8. Thanks :) I went ahead and installed the full version, but I think I'm gonna scale it back to the lite as well.
  9. Yeah I've seen this one as well, and it's incompatible with SFO. This is frustrating. If I use console commands to enlarge trees how do i remake the LOD to present a bigger tree? I think this is the final straw. I'm gonna start learning how to make a proper mod by myself.
  10. Hmmm. After doing some more reading it seems like SBT still has its share of problems and the author seems to be MIA. Fug. I really love the look of the bigger forests though and I've already tested it out (without a LOD generated) and it doesn't seem to impact my framerate worth noting.
  11. So I would REALLY like to add "Skyrim Bigger Trees" into my list. Does it work with the newest version of SFO? Will DynDOLOD create the appropriately sized LOD's?? Are there any problems I haven't foreseen besides some trees clipping through stuff? It just really changes the game so much. I love it and dont want to play without it.
  12. So I'm not really sure if this is a problem or not, but lately, all enemies completely ignore me in favor of my followers. Even if I'm the first one spotted, they'll run right passed me and fight my followers. People, creatures, dragons, all of them. They only fight me as a last resort. What's up with that?
  13. Indeed I do. Found them in Various places. I'd just pick them up and drop them and they'd behave afterwards. Also found a single skeleton that was having a one man rager inside a cave. dude was going bananas.
  14. Good to know. Though I'm still gonna wait until a new Vividian ENB is released for this new setup. My game is too pretty to give up now.
  15. I was talking about in the form of a torrent like he's done with SRO. Either way, doesn't matter as it's back up. Though, I'll be sitting this out. From the looks of all these changes I'm not going to be able to update everything without screwing up my save game. And it also seems like the vivid weather's is in an early state and keeps updating. I'll just wait things out for awhile before I update my list
  16. Yes Sir that was it! memory blocks log is reporting up over 300 and counting without an issue now, whereas before it killed the game right at 256. no idea where the duplicate with missing information came from. thanks!
  17. A-HA! I dig some digging around my computer and found I had a duplicate with nothing but the tint resolution inside it. deleted all but the one with the guides fixes in it. testing now. I'll report back.
  18. So I have my SKSE.ini file set as the guide writes: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 Yet, my game keeps crashing when Skyrim hits the original 256 limit. how do i fix this?
  19. I should also mention that I have the vividian ENB set to the highest setting, not the normal SR:LE settings.
  20. Anything indoors is a steady 60. Outside ranges from 60 down to 48 the lowest.
  21. I don't know what the issue was. I just gave up and started from scratch. Took up my long weekend reinstalling everything but it's back up and running. It runs fine most of the time, but I've noticed if I just go running around non stop for a length of time, my VRAM climbs until eventually crashing the game. It's like I have to take a break from running around and let the game think for a minute. Also, for one reason or another, after speaking to the jarl of whiterun and reaching the point where I'm supposed to go kill the first Dragon, it refuses to allow me to leave dragonsreach. It either ctd's when I open the door or it loads for a moment, starts playing the outside music, and then freezes while playing the water effects. I've gotten around this by leaving through the dungeon. Any idea what's up with either of those?
  22. I'm playing on a 27" 2560x1440 right now. the new one would be 3440×1440
  23. SO... I'm up to date with the guide as of 2/21/16, everything runs just fine. I'm currently running an nvidia gtx 980ti on an Asus pg278q monitor and at the most my performance monitor says I'm using 3.6Gb of VRAM. Do you think switching to a 34" ultrawide would put me over the 4gb limit of Skyrim?
