I thought to try this, but it didn't work out for me. In the end I got it to work by running ahead, down the stairs, and blocking her for a while before allowing her to walk up to the scene. Just hoping I don't get stuck with more of this kind of stuff down the line now.

After sorting after game improvement compilations, STEP was a nice recent find, but after installing I've not been able to get a game started off.. The reason for this would appear to be the main story NPCs thus far. When I first started my fresh game, I found myself consistently stuck on the beheaded prisoner during the games start, never being able to make it to the block myself, until one rare case where my avatar decided to walk an alternative path (heading off to the left and around Ulfric) giving me my current game. However, after making my way to Riverwood with Hadvar, I'm now in Alvor's house with Sigrid standing at the top of the stairs, doing nothing else but stand there. This is after the third fresh install of both the game and the compilation. Has no one else run into this issue?

First time user here. A question.. When installing STEP through Wrye Bash, the installer prompt tells me that it's installing the last file in the order, and then continues to install files in reverse order until it reaches the first. Is this how installation is supposed to go? If not, what am I supposed to do to fix this?
