  1. Ah, okay. no problem. By the way, I'm doing the Beautification right now. When a mod lists multiple files, but the files are basically the same thing in a way, which do we download. For example. 83 Willows lists 2 files, High Resolution and High Resolution spawn. Taking a look, both are the same size and the same exact mod, except the High Resolution spawn obviously has a difference in regards to spawning. Apologies if I misread something, but afaik the page says to download both. Should I?
  2. Afaik there are Requiem patches for his mods.
  3. So I downloaded Pumping Iron + Five O'Clock Shadow. Working fine, no issues. How would Enaisiaion's mods work? I'd assume that it wouldn't work very well because of Requiem.
  4. In regards to Pumping Iron. Would it be okay to add Pumping Iron and Five O' Clock Shadow to my load order with no issues? Or would I need to rerun Reqtificator? They shouldn't conflict with anything afaik.
  5. No problem, you truly deserve the gratitude! Maintaining a constantly evolving guide is tough, I'd assume. And yes, I will post my first video soon, just a nice little showcase of Skyrim + maybe some Skyblivion.
  6. I would truly like to give everybody who has contributed to this guide, through tedious hours of work, effort, and updating in order to keep up, on behalf of everybody (who has not thanked you). This guide has truly changed this game for me. Far more than SR:LE Base or even SR:LE Extended. The graphical fidelity is incredible, despite not having nearly as many graphical mods as SR:LE, aside from the Beautification; but man, the contributors responsible nailed the perfect balance of graphics and compatibility. Not a single crash, at all. Zero. Zip. Requiem....I will never play another game without it, simply stated. The game is mechanically designed at this point to make Skyrim brutal - the Dragonborn is human as well and must learn through experience. I got my ass kicked multiple times already by the same tribe of 3 and yet, each time, they feel perfectly balanced, intelligent, well-complimented to the others ability, and actually human. Going back to graphical fidelity, my game certainly does dip sometimes. I am using TAZ (150% recommended) and the entire guide w/o some optionals such as Enhanced AI, which I was quite upset to give up; but nonetheless, the addition to cities and towns and the such are worth it. Cities feel like cities somewhat, not so much like Oblivion cities or Morrowind cities but they now feel much more fleshed out. Now of only an EAI patch came out somewhat soon. I plan on sticking to what I have now and once every few months updating. I haven't even done beautification and my FPS stays around 35-45. However, I am using an AMD card. Albeit a pretty decent card, AMD struggles with ENB and I will be grabbing a GTX 1070 soon. Hopefully that will help me out a bunch. Will need it when I get the space for Beautification. I plan to do some showcasing videos with Skyblivion, maybe a playthrough of normal Skyrim. Silent, perhaps. But people will get the idea. I will promote this and spread it around, too good to be missed, and man, it almost leaves no room for error. Everything worked flawlessly. Thank you, truly!
  7. Apologies, I sorted the issue right after posting, should have clarified. Help always appreciated though!
  8. Apologies if this question has been answered before. Having an issue with TexGen. https://imgur.com/kBTdOFr I'm sure this is a mistake?
  9. Anybody have the files for CCO Heavy Armory? Patch is missing from CCO page and I'd think that somebody has it somewhere...
  10. Would somebody be kind enough to PM or upload the Heavy Armory CCO Patch?
  11. To above post, ignore Dragon Combat Overhaul question. However, I still am curious as to the compatibility with Erkeil's Dragons + Dragon Lords and this entire guide, as they are already compatible with DCO and DD.
  12. More questions, heh. 1) Can I add Dragon Combat Overhaul to this guide? 2) Can I also add Erkeil's Dragons + Dragon Lords? All of these mods are compatible, and yes; I want to get absolutely destroyed. Dragons should be real damn dragons. 3) Has the author considered adding any other quest mods? Are we free to add quest mods, even if some mods simply do not apply to new landscapes? I wanted to add Darkend, Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, and Wheels of Lull. 4) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60603/? This any good? 5) What ENB do you recommend to compliment this guide + the beautification part? Something realistic, should compliment Vivid Weathers, but also has a little color. I was thinking NLVA and then using Vivid Weathers MCM to adjust the saturation just a bit.
  13. Ah, thank you for the clarification! Now, let's see if I can remove enough mods to retain 27GB for SMC.
  14. Hey all, I see that this mod works as a standalone, and I like the actual mechanical improvements offered by this setup compared to SRLE Base. I also hear this guide is a far step up compared to SRLE Base. Well, what i wanted to know is two things. 1) Is this compatible with SRLE Base? I'd assume not because of Requiem and all of the specific mods that require a lot of patching. 2) If it is, do I install this alongside SRLE? I just want to know because I love all of the graphical improvement and texture mods offered by SRLE but it seems that this gets rid of a lot of texture mods and such. I am running incredibly low on space because of this + SRLE Base (So this may be a good thing) but... How does this compare to SRLE Base graphically? Also, can I add some script-less enemy AI mods. I wanted to add Combat Evolved, Revnge of the Enemies, and Erkel's AI Overhaul. Shouldn't be a problem, no?
  15. Just a question all, If any ENB is compatible with this guide, I'd then assume that NLA can go with Vivid Weathers and the other lighting mods. On Vividian's page (Vividian looks best in my game), it says that Vividian ENB is compatible with NLA. Therefore, can I use NLA with Vividian ENB and my Base SRLE install? And if so, is this the install order? 1) Vivid Weathers 2) Vividian ENB 3) NLA (Mod only) 4,5,6...) lighting mods Would be a great help! I didn't like NLVA and Tetrochromatic + Snowfall weren't nice enough for me, Vividian works so well with the lighting mods and such so I was curious to see if NLA would work with it because it says that the two are compatible (I'd use Vividian mod/ENB files and only NLA mod, no ENB files)
  16. https://imgur.com/IjCeSAF This should be fine, no? What is odd is that I was using it alongside Vivid Weathers and Tectrochromatic ENB. Install instructions was install Vivid Weathers first, then install NLVA mod/esp only, and then install Tetro ENB files. Even then it crashed. The only thing making it crash is nlva.esp I think. I...I.....it just worked...hmm. NLVA, worked no problem. Odd, very odd.
  17. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79879/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D79879%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D5002815&pUp=1 Perhaps author could consider this mod? great for people with headsets, new mod, simulates surroudn sound but also adds top/bottom direction.
  18. Hm, odd issue. no matter what I do, NLVA is causing a crash. Even deactivating all other lighting mods will cause it to crash as well. Activating Vividian.esp works fine. I restarted from scratch as base SRLE and I'm not too far in. Followed instructions exactly how they were to be followed. It's only NLVA causing it. I can run around in the LAL room but as soon as I sleep, boom. CTD.
  19. My friend, thank you very much! I appreciate it!
  20. 1) If you change your ENB to another one that fits to the WLSO options you have chosen you just change the ENB, if it doesn't fit you rebuild the WLSO merge with the appropriate weather mods for your new ENB. 2) I'm running this guide with NLVA+glacier as weathermods and switching between Snowfall ENB and Tetrachromatic for NLVA, so yes it works very well with NLVA. Iirc it is planned to add NLVA to the WLSO page. VW is a prerequisite for NLVA as its assets are used, but you find that info on the NLVA page. Best follow the WLSO guide for VW and replace the esps in the merge according to the install instructions for NLVA. Idk if NLVA needs an extra wlso patch, best ask JD for this, as for glacier.esp a wlso patch is provided in JD's dropbox. Thanks buddy! Just a question. Do you run NLVA, mod only, and Glacier ENB? That is apparently how the Glacier author said it's done.
  21. Hello! Apologies if this question has been asked before, I simply do not have the time right now to read through all 85 pages of this thread. I understand that your guide is compatible with a few ENBs and more, the main three being TAZ, NLA, and VW. So, I just have two questions. 1) When we change our ENB, must we remove the ENB mods + all its accompaniments (Vivid Weathers with Vividian and all of the lighting mods), or do we just remove the ENB itself? I'd assume that we would be able to keep the lighting mods but remove the ENB + VW if it isn't supported. 2) Has there been any way to get NLVA to work? If I have to, I will sacrifice some mods to get it up and running. The game simply looks too good with that incredible ENB (I know that it combines some mods like Vivid Weathers so how would that work? Is Vivid Weathers a prerequisite or is it already included?) This is relatively important to me because I am a developer for Skyblivion and I am setting up a base SRLE setup in conjunction with this guide as I prefer Requiem to Ordinator. I want the game looking as perfect as possible for footage that we will use in trailers and such, as I'm working directly with Rebelzize, and if I could get NLVA up some how I would appreciate it immensely. Perhaps you could contact m privately and we could discuss briefly? Anything will work. Thank you for this incredible guide, it is working wonders upon my game!
  22. Hey, completely unrelated question, I see that you are researching for a build (or at least were.) Have you compiled something that is compatible and suits your needs or are you still in the process of gathering info about what you want? Also, back to the point, I feel the same way. Many mods will be broken and will need to be updated. Also, SKSE and ENB will need to be updated. Not worth it imo, unless you learn your way around the CK (which they are probably releasing a new+ improved one) then you can learn how to port mods and make them compatible with 64 bit.
  23. Great responses everyone! So as of now, it seems that Skyrim modded with this guide (and the Extended version of this guide which is awesome as well) will definitely be a better choice. I just wish that mods were flexible enough to transfer to a 64-bit version of the game, which would mean ENB and SKSE would need to be reworked. I could care less about the graphics upgrade now; I just wish that we could get that 64-bit edition without relearning everything we have learned since 2011. No more memory issues and much higher stability sounds so great...oh well.
  24. So, now that Bethesda has announced that Skyrim is being remastered and rebranded as the "Special Edition" for the PS4, XBone, and PC, how will this guide adapt to the new upgrade? PC gets a free upgrade if you have the Legendary Edition on Steam, and they are releasing the game in 64-bit, which is absolutely incredible! I expect the community to be at it's highest, to peak like it hasn't before. And now, with no restrictions regarding memory or plugin limits, + the added graphical upgrade, their is so much potential to get the community back into modding as it was a couple years ago! I assume that this guide will go through a massive overhaul as well. Or maybe not. Who knows? As of right now, I am a dev for Skyblivion, so the added features will finally allow our team to not be stuck dealing with memory limitations in the CK. HYPE!!!
  25. Hey Greg. I doubt you seen the update, but I fixed my issue. Just read what I posted at the very top. I had reinstalled and restarted everything, and did what you said. I made sure Skyrim worked first, and then added SKSE, tested, and it worked. I added about 10 mods at a time until I had about 20. Everything worked. The problem only started when I added AS:LAL. I found out that the issue is from loose scripts installed when the Creation Kit is installed. Deleting them completely solves the issue. I'm so happy, since this was affecting me for days. Not only that, but I found a full backup of my MO and am moving it to my C Drive right now. Can't wait! Nevertheless, thanks for the help. I appreciate people who take the time to help me solve issues.
