  1. Thank you, I will try these suggestions out soon. Once again thank you for such great support. Your work and commitment is much appreciated. Mery Chrmistmas to you too!
  2. I just played for 3-4 hours straight and I totally love it. That said, I need to admit I havent had much experience with other presets as they were too performance consuming and I didn't even like the way they looked. With this one, if I press shift+F12 to check how it would look like normally I can't believe that the original vanilla is so... well, not immersive at all. Love pretty much everything about it, except one thing. The nights are pitch black for me, if I want to go somewhere during night I can't see anything, even with the torch, well I know it's realistic but not quit playable for me... Can I control the brightness of nights somehow? Obviously I could use the brightness in settings but it's not like I want to change it every time at dusk and dawn :P P.S. are you a member of STEP? because when it comes to performance I was trying to find some kind of list of most heavy mods, I know they have indication in the description in the guide, but after installing 100+ mods it's tedious to go through each of them. A simple table with mod names and indication of how it affects performance would be great, but on the other hand it's just me being lazy, you guys did an amazing job with the STEP guide. I am modding the game for the first time in my life (well actually I am playing this game for the first time in my life) and I had no big problems with setting everything up, although I was a little bit overwhelmed at the beginnig :) But in the end I am extremly happy that I found the STEP, it was kind of by mistake, but playing the game in original vanilla environment wouldnt be as half as fun, and I can say that just after few hours of gameplay and checking occasionally how it would look like originally.
  3. Wish I had posted my enblocal in the beginning, would have saved you a lot of time... Nevertheless, THANK YOU SO MUCH for such great support, this alone makes me sure it's the right ENB preset to go with :) Gonna try this now and see how much my performance is affected, guess I didn't see much FPS drop till now because most effects didn't work... EDIT: Yep, the FPS are down from ~30 to ~20 :( I already lowered the grass density and shadows resultion, is there anything I can do more? I HATE my GPU... EDIT 2: I started the game from the beginning and I love this preset so much, despite ~25FPS it's playable for me, Im used to having low performance. The caves in Helgen are so immersive, I'm speechless, so great work, I tried a few different presets before and omitting the fact that I had ~15FPS which was unacceptable, I didn't really like the way they looked, oversaturated and unrealistic for me. This one hits my sweetspot! I'd love some suggestions though about getting 5-10 FPS more if that's possible...
  4. I enabled Vsync as instructed - obviosuly no change there. I diabled SMAA injector to try - no change there. Im really getting frustrated with this, thank you for trying to help me. My enblocal.ini My enbseries.ini Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini I do not expect you to go over all of this, but maybe you know what to look for and will find something that can cause this textures look so bad or make the SSAO and Reflection disabled. I would be do grateful. EDIT: The LodBias was changed to 1.0 !!! I have no idea why, it must have been some tweaking guide I was following that made me change it, now the textures look fine although a little bit different than normally, but perfectly acceptable :) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! If you could now figure out the SSAO and Reflection aswell I will be forever grateful. I hope that the INIs provided can help with that.
  5. Yes, bFloatPointRenderTarget is set to 1 in my MO profile. Also AA is disabled in skyrimprefs.ini for my MO profile. My nvidia driver settings, were set according to STEP guide as follows: Antialiasing Mode - Application cotrolled Antialiasing Setting - Application cotrolled / Off For Ambient Occlusion (driver settings): Ambient Occlusion Setting - Off Ambient Occlusion Usage - Enabled is this the way it is supposed to be? Do I need to have Vsync active? I disabled it cause I get around 30FPS anyway and it always causes FPS drop in games for me. Can the SMAA injector cause this?
  6. As for plants Im basically using STEP:Core + CoT, so I guess I do have SFO (but also some other like Hybrids HD Plants and Herbs Retexture), but the problem is that without ENB they look fine. Here are two screenshots to compare, the difference might not seem that big so I marked where it is most visible, but believe me, in-game it unfortunately makes look everything crappy :( The leaves are like wider and much more blurry, It's hard to describe, like they had extremely lower quality. As for the SSAO and Reflection, Im positive that they are set to true in enbseries.ini located in skyrim folder and yet they are disabled in-game :( https://imageshack.com/a/img661/73/hST4R5.png https://imageshack.com/a/img537/101/Vacyn6.png when you open them in two tabs and zoom in then the difference is obvious EDIT: I tried disabling the HD Plants and Herbs Retexture and unfortunately it doesn't change anything, it's definitely something that ENB is causing and sadly I can't stand the way the plants look right now. Is there anything I can do about this? On the other hand I really love the fire effects (the fire spell is amazing and a burning torch) and how the interiors and dungeons look. If I could only fix those plants and be able to turn SSAO on (to try it out) it would be great!
  7. Thank you for your continouos help. I switched to injector ENB and finally eveything works as it's supposed to, it's a double benfit for me cause it finally recognizes my dGPU :) but I think that the Skyrim Performance Monitor is causing problems cause when I have it on, its readings are still blurry (but the game is fine though) so I stopped using it as it's not really necessary for anything. I just have one question more, all the plants look kind of crappy now, it's hard to describe but they look like the textures were of far less quality than before... I tried running modded game without ENB to verify if this is the reason and the plants look fine without ENB. Any ideas there? Oh, and also in ENB GUI some options are not possible to change, like Ambient Occlusion, is it normal? I've set SSAO and Reflection to true in enbseries but they seem to be off in-game and I cant enable them for some reason... Other than that I absolutely love your work, performance is great and I spent like 10mins just looking at sunset, it's so beautiful now :) Do you know if I want to use SMAA injector, does everything stay the same as in case of wrapper enb version?
  8. Ok, so I identified the following problems: 1) my resolution didn't change, it's just that everything is blurry and therefore looks like resolution is lower (including main menu and skyrim performance monitor digits) 2) the menu under shift+enter doesn't open, a hourglass appears and keeps rotating but nothing happens any ideas? The blurry image appeared after installing ELE and skylight ENB, cant think of anything else that I changed. I'd appreciate your help very much.
  9. Thank you so much for such comprehensive answer! Will try it out today :) is the shift + enter the same as editing enbseries.ini ?
  10. Hi everyone, so I just installed skylight ENB but it seems to have changed my resolution to a lower one... How can I change it back? Obviously I could use Skyrim Launcher but won't it overwrite my ini files back to default? I already changed everything in them as suggested in the installation guide. Thanks for the help in advance. Also, Im a complete noob in modding, just finished installing STEP Core and wanted to try out some ENB, just sayin cause the question might seem ridicoulosly stupid :P EDIT: Also, performance-wise (as Im barely getting 30FPS on my modded game), which would be better? SMAA injector on low preset or built-in Edge AA? Is disabling SSAO and Reflection a good way to go?
