Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx

Ninja'ed.... I had been playing with the wizardy thingy, and just noticed this in advanced. That'll learn me to try to do things the simple way :p -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
narphous replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
A question, because I can't figure out how, or if, this can be done. I'm using the billboards for SBT and realistic aspens. And what I'm doing is generating lod via lodgen and manually setting the brightness because the default of 0 is way too bright for the aspens. So what I want to do is set the default brightness used for generating the tree lods. I see how to do it manually in lodgen, but not in dyndolod. Is setting the tree lod brightness possible? And I also noticed that even after manually generating the tree lods, dyndolod is generating them again instead of using the existing data, hence my question. -

This is just a guess, but every time I run into something like that, it's because I haven't updated to the latest and greatest tes5edit. -

And I can confirm that without that esp loaded, lod generates successfully. -

That would probably be Anna NPCs. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58357/? I should've mentioned I was generating lods for Tamriel world. -

Load order has changed a lot, so here it all is. TES5Edit_log.7z LoadOrder_Skyrim_2015-03-13T10-14-19.txt -

Well, I was just kidding, but nonetheless, I'm getting an invalid floating point operation, of all things. Happens while adding the masters to dyndolod.esp. TES5Edit_bugreport.txt -

I'll get right on that :p -

Little update... I ended up rebuilding to try to solve another problem and left out FSP unique town and village music. Lod building went through without any errors using my entire load order. -

0.52, which I believe is the latest. I'm using the replacer. I was trying to generate for tamriel world. Load order is attached. LoadOrder_Skyrim_2015-02-19T21-55-02.txt -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx

Ah, yeah, about that. I got an error about missing masters the last time I ran my full load order. The error was due to fantasy music overhaul. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46518/? I just skipped those and everything ran fine. Lot of mods I would have never suspected of having/modifying lods in my set up..... -

OK, thanks. I'll generate a new lod later today or tomorrow and see how it goes. On a related note, in the last release I noticed that if I tried to generate lods for anything other than tamriel, falmer valley and solsteim, I got an error at the end of lod generation stating "list bounds out of range". Or something like that. I saved a bug report somewhere... Have you seen that, or do you need it replicated? Or should I not be doing that? -

Just noticed that Data\meshes\dlc01\lod\dlc01frozenlakebreak02_lod.nif is actually named Data\meshes\dlc01\lod\dlc01frozenlakebreak02_lod,.nif. Was that intentional? Or a typo? -

Found the problem with waterfalls. Had to turn fade distant objects back off in my skyrim config. -

Definitely seems to be working much better. I finally saw the glorious notification that dyndolod had initialized. Now to figure out why I don't see waterfalls... -

I don't usually check every day for updates, but now I guess I'll have to establish a process... -

I got the same. If you figure it out, I'd like to know but will look as well. Not familiar with tes5edit scripting though. -

OK, that's fixed. But now I'm getting this: Error in unit 'userscript' on line 248 : Undeclared Identifier 'CheckMissingAssets'. TES5Edit_bugreport.txt -

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing/did wrong, but I'm missing it, whatever it is. I have DynDOLOD 0.51.00 and xEdit svn1893 installed, hopefully correctly, but when trying to follow the directions for purewaters waterfalls, I'm not able to insert the additional meshes. Right clicking brings up an error message: error in unit 'optionsform' on line 516 : undeclared identifier 'frmruleformclose'. If someone can point out what stupid thing I've done, it would be much appreciated. TES5Edit_bugreport.txt -

The more I watch the demo, the more I want to give this a shot. But truth be told, I can't follow sheson's speed run tutorial. Anyone have something written up? I do a lot better with written instructions than videos anyway. Guess I'm just old or something.
