  1. So when I first installed MO I installed it into a "Programs" folder I have on my SSD. Now suppose I want to migrate my MO installation to a different directory. I tried simply moving the "Mod Organizer" folder but this removed my profiles and my mods, even though they were all still in the "mods" folder. Is there an official tutorial on how to move you "Mod Organizer" folder, or at least way to ensure I won't have to redownload and reinstall all my mods and recreate my profiles?
  2. I don't know about optimization, but my antivirus software is McAfee and just from a glance at my "Uninstall" list of programs I don't see anything I can imagine would interfere.
  3. Once again we arrive at the oddity of this problem. With AOS enabled the arrow make no sound at all, with it disabled, I get vanilla sounds. I wonder could ENBoost have something to do with it?
  4. First: After some testing I found the BSA's aren't the problem, that was my bad, sorry about that. Second: I've noticed that the sound files included in Live Another Life play just fine, I have no idea why this is. Third: I prefer to use Dropbox, and so far as I can tell all the documents should be in this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q9ats5q8syys6sx/AAD3X9j8S1O2O_NJey9TgNfRa?dl=0
  5. Some time ago I posted a thread here because I noticed the AOS mod wasn't working after I switched to mod organizer. The problem has still not been resolved, and I find it daunting not knowing how many of my mods aren't working as they were intended to, just because my setup won't acknowledge certain sound files when accessed through MO. The original thread can be found here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6564-audio-overhaul-for-skyrim-2-not-working/ Now you might be asking if anything has changed, and the answer to that is, not much. Although I have noticed some of my mods that add audio files are working fine, and I figure if we can figure out why some work, it might help us find out why some aren't. The only thing I know for certain is that I can't do it on my own. So please, I beg of you, help me sort this out. Cheers.
  6. Some time ago, right after I switched to MO from NMM, I noticed my sound overhauls weren't working. So I posted a thread here requesting assistance. You can see the original thread here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6564-audio-overhaul-for-skyrim-2-not-working/ Eventually we gave up trying to find the problem, and I just installed the mods manually into my skyrim data folder as a workaround. I'm telling you all this because just now there have been a new development. I've been told that the problem is related to BSA files for reasons usually to do with BSA optimizers, my setup simply won't read sound files stored in BSA's. I hope we can use this to FINALLY solve this once and for all.
  7. So I've been using MO for a few months now and I've never had this problem before, but after I updated to v1.2.16 my Skyproc patchers have stopped working. I run the patcher, get the "mod organizer is locked while running executable" message, followed by a loadbar at the bottom of the window, and lastly MO displays: 18:06:37 [D] D:\Programs\Mod Organizer\profiles\Modded\initweaks.ini saved in the log at the bottom. I've tried recreating the executables with no effect, and I don't know what to do now. Please help. Edit: I tried creating a shortcut to the patcher and then closing MO. When I run the shortcut I get an error message that reads "Error: Unable to access jarfile D:\Programs\mod" Though I suspect the last line in the message is supposed to say "D:\Programs\Mod Organizer\mods\ReProccer - Automated SkyRe patch generator\SkyProc Patchers\T3nd0_ReProccer\Reproccer.jar"
  8. Thanks, that did the trick.
  9. For some reason the "mod order" warning is telling me to put Dragonborn after the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch, which obviously is wrong. Does anyone know why?
  10. Hence why I used the word temporary, but I ran out ideas three pages ago, so I'm pretty much relying on input from you guys.
  11. Yeah what I meant was, what am I screen shoting? Edit: I've found a temporary solution to the problem. I simply install the sound mod manually to the Skyrim Data folder, and then launch the game through MO, this seems to fix the problem.
  12. Alright, there are many things here I don't know what means, but I assume this is what you need? https://www.dropbox.com/s/mn3lgmbpiwzim1n/report.html?dl=0
  13. @GrantSP: I don't have anyhting like that in my setup, as for the audio mod this is interesting. I've been using for almost as long as AOS the Sounds of Skyrim mod, but it's effects are rather subtle, so I hadn't noticed it not working, but now I've tested it and sure enough, it doesn't work either. I'll look into the codecs thing over the course of tomorrow.
  14. Well, could it have to do with the fact I have Skyrim on one drive and MO on another?
  15. @hishutup: That helps a bit but I still don't understand your suggestion
  16. @hishutup: I don't know what a nod folder is. @GrantSP: My paths are as follows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim D:\Programs\Mod Organizer D:\Programs\Mod Organizer\mods\Audio Overhaul for Skyrim 2
  17. Hey I've been gone all weekend, but now I'm back I'll try out the stuff you guys suggested, but for now I'd just like to leave you with this. I've been using AOS on this system now for about 6 months and I never had a problem with it until I switched to MO, so to say MO isn't the problem I find highly implausible. Edit: I tested your testmod as you suggested, just dropped the sound folder into my skyrim data directory, I then ran Skyrim through the SKSE launcher in the skyrim folder and the sounds work just fine.
  18. @GSDfan: I did this ten posts ago, it opened in VLC player as it was set to and the sound played fine.
  19. @keithinhanoi: Your third test mod didn't work, I'm still getting silent shots. @hishutup: I know what all those words mean individually but when you put them together like that I have no idea what you're talking about.
  20. @DoubleYou It did nothing
  21. @hishutup: here you go. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vom6tgl7yfeay28/Skyrim.ini?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/wl3ozryfk678v05/SkyrimPrefs.ini?dl=0 @keithinhanoi: It seems to be the AOS sounds, as this time there was nothing, complete silence.
  22. @hishutup: Sorry that wasn't it either. @keithinhanoi: I installed your "mod" and fired off a bunch of arrows in my vanilla profile. Most of the time I got regular bow sounds, a third of the time I got a sheep or a goat sound, and on my second shot (and only that second shot so it was probably a fluke) I got no sound at all.
  23. I'm willing to try just about anything
  24. Alright first of all @GrantSP It had no effect on my game what so ever. @keithinhanoi: All 5 assertions are correct, I tried executing the .wav file through MO and it launched VLCPlayer with the correct sound, so no problem here either. (I relaunched to check if the audio sliders were indeed there and they were)
