I try to make it simple. So how do i compile scripts? I need this so i can see the error that gives me. If it does.

That's not quite the answer what i was looking for. My problem was "corflags error cf001 could not open file for writing" as i wanted use CK through MO. This issue still persist, but i want to know what test i need to do to so that i can see error that CK puts when i use it, so i create some fake mod. From OP So what error shows and when. I hope you understand that even i get error with corflags i want test CK. How. Does above action means that work or..?

Here what i did, i launch CK from mod organizer, following tutorial from here https://www.creationkit.com/Category:Getting_Started i create empty plugin named "testquest.esm". He is now in my MO ovewrite folder together with txt file which have line "Data File Loaded 'Skyrim.esm'...". Is this means that actually works? How do i check does it work or not? I can also see all mods i've install so far in CK

I've search and can't find clear info about this. I read that good practice is to go into unoccupied house and save through game. But somewhere i read that's best to save through console. So what's the best way to have most stable save game?

Just few other steam games.

I said installed in different partition than one which holds windows itself, which is C:\ , not program files. Program files in other partition were created by default while i installed steam. You know, when you install stuff, it offers you C:\ by defult and you just change your drive letter.

I guess this is one of those problems that can be solved on one way only - by accident :p

Mod Organizer Profiles with LOOT and BOSS
ogorman replied to ogorman's question in Mod Organizer Support
I see that boss have bum, but loot don't, so if my mod(s) don't work as i need to use BOTTOM, how will i manage to do this in loot. I would never thought that loot is next boss. I know what site says, but to me they don't look similiar. LOOT is much easier to deal, but easier at start usually means problems at the end. I didn't use much of any and don't have much experience so i like to try. -
I try to be simple as possible: 1. Can i run one profile with LOOT and other with BOSS? Do they interfere with each other. 2. Can i run 2 profiles with LOOT and 2 with BOSS? Do they interfere with itself. Does they create list for each profile? 3. Can i run one profile with LOOT and then use BOSS and get back on LOOT. Do they interfere with each other on same profile?

Have no idea why how he have that path. I installed steam out of c:\, where windows exist. Have installed visual studio 2013 in c:\ too my path is : "C:/program files (x86)/Microsoft SDKs/Windows/v8.1A/bin/NETFX 4.5.1 Tools/corflags.exe" /32bit+ "d:/Program Files (x86)/steam/steam apps/common/skyrim/papyrus compiler/papyruscompiler.exe" try run cmd as admin, try run vs 2013 cmd, try to give permission to folders etc but same result.

I don't understand why we optimize 3 dlc and base game texture(std) with HD dlc. Does this mean that we can optimize only 3 dlc and std without hd dlc and that we can use those optimization without even using hd dlc's in game? Idea that i had is that hd dlc's bring higher textures in game, so as for gameplay dlc's(DG, HF, DB) or they come with their own hd textures?

I ask this because at first, this was little confusing to me. Where the hell is box lower right, I ask myself. I thought that this apply to ddsopt gui itself insted of browse box. Silly i know. During the extraction i did choose (*.bsa) files and they remain. No problem about that. But, during optimization, every time i click on browse (upper ddsopt box) for searching folder to optimize(e.g. Vanilla Body Textures), it shows DirectDraw Surface (*.dds) and i need manually put "All Documents (*).(*)" So when i want to optimize Vanilla Exterior Normal Maps, again shows .dds. ddsop is run by admin privilege and i use x64 version.

Some stuff from Overwrite folder you can remove, however from some stuff there you must make new mods (FNIS, ASIS (this one you don't have as STEP and i would suggest you that you do), Dual Sheath Redux, Skyproc) and during tes5edit cleaning, you must copy back files to data folder. What i would suggest you is that you follow Neovalen Skyrim Revisited more then STEP. Neovalen tutorial gives you more straight forward info about what's going on while STEP is more in depth. I use Skyrim STEP and Skyrim Revisited at same time, searching same mods on both sides, read about them, go on nexus site , read even more. This is the only way. Then you can reinstall the mods and see what's going on by yourself

May I ask what is purpose of this step I notice that every time i browse for new directory it changes from "All Documents (*).(*)" to dds or something. I ask because it's so confusing to have step for showing folder which shows anyway withouth this step. Is there any special reason to do this?

In windows 8.1 correct location is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.1A\bin\NETFX 4.5.1 Tools..." But it's not working for me and it gives me error (corflags error cf001 could not open file for writing) After 1h of trying every solution i could find, error still exist.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
ogorman replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hi Neo, I have question about Creation kit SkyrimEditor .ini file. I bought Skryim:LE and I thought that's different game then Skyrim and that includes all content. I was right and wrong at the same time. Skyrim:LE includes all content but it doesn't install it. HD textures must be installed separately. So after Skyrim installation (together with dlc) i run Creation Kit and run it. Later i installed HD textures. My question is about certain lines that you mention in your guide: I did add the necessary lines, but what bothers me that "SArchiveList=" include all .bsa files except HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa and HighResTexturePack03.bsa. In my file it looks like this: Is this all right or I need manually add HD dlc lines? -
Perfectly clear. Thank you sir!!

Hello everyone I got question about DDSopt setup. The thing is that i want to use same setup for making both High and Performance Optimization. At first i had one folder named "Vanilla Extracted". Then I, according to guide, run "1_HRDLC_Clean-START_2.7.bat". Everything went fine. After that i run "2_Pre-optimization_2.78.bat" and it created 6 new folders making it 7 in total. Now i going to optimize vanilla textures using settings for Performance Quality (P) and after that I'm going to archive them. When that process is over, I want to start whole process again for High Quality settings (H) without extracting files again and running already mention two batch files. So what i want to know are those 7 folders which i have, left clean after optimization and archiving or i must copy preoptimization folders on some other place and paste it back every time i want to make other optimization? Or maybe, only "Vanilla Extracted" remains untouched, while i have to erase other 6 folders and run "2_Pre-optimization_2.78.bat" ?
