  1. Recent Update : (Apoligies to my GTX 760 who I inadvertantly allowed user frustration to break me.) Major victory I have exited the cell at Fort Amol and can renter and exit without a CTD. I've concluded that the problem reared it's ugly head right after the installation of my personal added mods. I have currently 40 extra mods added to my load order in which 25 are adding textures and meshes while the remaining add or change gameplay. The Useless Shop and Interior overhaul is a mod listed on Immersive Citizens incompatible mods list that I have installed in at least 3 different ways (standalone 5 mods, Authors merge mod, and My Merge mod) all with the samne issues of furniture placed inside other furniture, and NPC's walking and getting stuck inside. The Bannered Mare showed the most conflicts as it seemed to be raised and restructured too much to be compatible with any other mod affecting that cell. So with that said I removed the conflicting mods from my load order. I re read every single desription in my load order and adjusted the mods priority or set meta rules in LOOT, re installed all patcher mods and patched as instructed, Created a conflict patch for the added mods 3x's (I am going to improve my patch as the more I tweak and go in game I can now see the changes and understand what mods should win in my patch.) Loaded the game made a save, cleaned that save of any orphaned scripts, loaded game and saved again to clear the scripts, then reloaded and tried the door to the cell and after a long loading screen I saw daylight and Dyndolod succesfully activated. (Unbeleivable) I also installed the performance version of Vividian ENB and ran Dyndolod at medium. I feel like thier can be some improvements with the ENB settings, DDSOPT, and learning LOD creation or substitution of far away objects opposed to the near because water and reflection seem hard to live without. Gains are very noticeable in FPS with a 7fps increase indoors and outdoor. My brother was in town for the holiday and he is the person who introduced me to Skyrim in 05/2014. (I rarely played any games that did not involve sports) He has been away from the game all of 2015 due to work/life and when I showed him Skyrim Revisited Legendary he spent 3hours last night with his jaw on the floor. Thanks Neo for this pack and the push into modding for real.
  2. Ok I have an update, pretendevour took your advice and loaded a save of my current char right after the prison scene and "Begin your new life" I then COC HagsEnd01 and it takes me to the exact spot I first encountered the inability to exit Hags End through Deepwoodredoubt. The witches are at level 4 as are the forsworn, I am at level 1 and in godmode I can defeat the entire camp as well as exit all cells. Also COC FortAmol is the other cell that locks me up and the same thing happens there. Things of note : . Gameplay is running 35-48 fps indoor and outdoors, some areas indoors will run up into the mid 50's. I feel no difference that I can complain about even with the lower than desired framerate. (If I turned the fps counter off I would not have a clue the fps were that low.) . My character can turn a full 360 degrees without stutter. . Once or twice the screen froze for a split sec during a kill move. I added the [VATS] tweaks to my .ini file and it may have a conflict with the mod Violins. I will need to investigate that mod and see if conflicts are noted and for now just remove all of my personal ini tweaks until I get more info on them "[ACTOR], [CAMERA], and [MAPMENU]" All said the play is exciting and appears that the card is handeling the mod list just fine and the problem might lie as you mentioned in the Conflict Resolution patch for my added mods and it's load order on top of SR:LE. I missed the Bright Red Lettering concerning the mod Immersive Citizens and some conflicts it listed in which I have two mods on their list of incompatible's "iWil_Useless Shop and Interiors, Multiplefloor sandboxing". I am going to re read all descriptions for added mods and get deeper involved with TES5Edit's capibilities to improve LOAD ORDER. I think many of the problems that interfered with gameplay for me seems to always boil down to the load order and the conflicts over some of your wants and needs.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions so far, you do bring up a point about it not showing symptoms until I have decided to stop trouble shooting and actually play. One thing that threw me when I started a new player was that loading the prison scene when starting a new game takes almost 3 min to load. Once I have made my choices with live another life, and setup the MCM menu I can make a save and it will load that save and those after much faster until I get stuck somewhere. COC at the Bethesda screen acts the same way until a save has been created. I will try to coc to these areas from a early save maybe the first one after the prison and see if I am able to leave after clearing them, the only thing they share in common is that I almost got killed in both places because the npc's seem to be higher than me. I will check there levels after I dispatch of them. I also have a profile in MO with just SR:LE base loaded so I will try my save on this profile before adding my mods in slower. OHH as an aside : Your flicker photos are AWEsome.
  4. I am posting a mod list on paste bin, if anyone see's a mod that could be a problem https://pastebin.com/Z7ymwQUe
  5. Pretendeavor - I have considered changing my DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024, but my memoryblockslog file shows this : logging of blocks enabled logging max values only Timer disabled Block1 Block2 512MB 256MB 85 8 320 181 320 182 320 183 **************** I tried to raise the setting and it still CTD when attempting to exit. logging of blocks enabled logging max values only Timer disabled Block1 Block2 768MB 256MB 85 8 85 8 296 180 317 181 317 182 317 183 **************** This gives me the impression that it is not exceeding the DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 Block1 Block2 512MB 256MB I agree it may come down to unplugging all mods added on top of SR:LE and going at it five at a time. It just happens very consistantly as if I have built up too much game play to go forward, (if that is even possible) Darth_mathias - I am running DynDoLOD on high settings and I am not oppossed to lowering this to med and see if this helps me to escape this dungeon without console commands.
  6. You can always double check by using memory blocks Log (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/?) Load as a new mod on MO and open it in explorer and change .ini file setting EnableLog=false to EnableLog=true Run the game allowing this mod to create the MemoryBlocksLog.log and if your settings are correct you will see somthing like this in the log files. logging of blocks enabledlogging max values onlyTimer disabledBlock1 Block2512MB 256MB85 885 8 Hope this helps....
  7. Ok I have learned that the merge patch requires copy general assets to be checked in the settings so that is how it got there, but with the enbseries folder and .ini file already loaded in the enb manager's ENB Configs folder it seems IMO that there may be a conflict if there has been any changes to either one (I have turned Depth of Field Off) and not the other. I am going to delete that file in the ENB merge folder and test to see if it has an impact on fps.
  8. Thanks Darth_ for you response not great news but, "knowing your limits is more of an asset to progress than most will admit." When I purchased this card ($285) back in November 2014 I assumed it would handle anything I could throw at it, but hearing that your 970 stumbles a lil puts things into a better perspective. I agree with your assersions on Vividian and SFO being Performance intesive, and the authours of both mods did an exceptianl job they may have to be pryed from my dead hands before I let them go. Pryor to your suggestion I did load the performance version of Vividian and merged the esp's and then I noticed that In the Overwrite folder not only was the vividian ENB.esp there but so was every other file and folder from the original mod folder - meshes, textures, Vividian ENB Files. WT*? So I looked in the merge from the previous install and it is the same. Can You verify for me that enb merge folder is not suppossed to have the ENB install Files folder inside the new Vividian ENB Merge Mod???
  9. Yes in the guide under - Initial INI Tweaks <spoiler> The first step to editing the SKSE.ini is to create it. Perform the following: Right-click Skyrim Script Extender in the Mod Organizer mod list. Select "Open In Explorer". Create and enter a folder named SKSE. Create and open a text file named SKSE.ini. Once this file is open to be edited, paste in the following: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 This enables self-healing of rogue updating scripts in saves and the new memory patch. Save and close SKSE.ini then exit explorer. </spoiler>
  10. I have completed the install of SR:LE twice in the last 2 months and I must say I am overly impressed with the work Neo has done on this Mod List. I have learned more than I have ever expected following this guide to become a better modder. I have one concern and I felt it was time to ask rather than attempt to validate some of my concerns with the millions of post relevant and irelevant. I get a CTD while trying to exit from an interior cell to an exterior cell and vice versa. My system runs 35fps to 52fps both indoor and outdoor with the enb enabled, and dead set on 60fps indoor and outdoor with enb off. This issue arises after long periods of play (1 hour min) with no glitches and a simple save through console or the regular menu and 90% of the time I try to save in an interior cell. Returning to game play I find that evrything loads fine and I am able to explore the cell I have saved in but will CTD when trying to exit the cell after a long load screen (1 min to 2 min, yes I am PC spoiled I ran STEP Extended + my added Mods for over a year). The locations where this happens I do not believe are the problem there just where I was hen this ugly problem shoas itself. Location : Hags End (HagsEnd01, DeepwoodRedoubtExterior02,) Locatiopn : For Amol (FortAmol01) I am at the point where it may be time to admitt that the computer I built specifically for this game just is not capable for this Mod List. I tried without any success to load my save from STEP lvl65 and decided t start a new game for the first time in a year. All goes reallly well untill lvl16 when I got stuck in Hags End unable to enter DeepwoodRedoubt to leave that dungeon. Solution came by me finnally submitting and turning fsst travel on in frostfall and travel out to Four Shields Tavern. Clean save with clean save tool repatched all patches and was off again after a week of trubleshooting. Playing again without any noticable issues I find myself at Fort Amol, where I cleared out the Fort and exited into the courtyard when I decided it was enough for the night. So I reenter the Fort organize my inventory and make a save inside. Anxoius the next morning 5am while the house is assleep I get back in game and again I am able to explore, sleep, loot as normal, but while exiting I CTD again. At this point I am at level19 and am unable to leave the Fort no matter which exit I try, so I coc to the exterior and find myself outside running back to what has become the norm. Things I have done to solve my issue are : skyrim.ini High settings rather than Ultra Clean save (wait in game 31days) Rebuild SR:LE on 8/19 to 8/23 My system specs are : https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Ram911/SystemSpecs My enblocal.ini Memory settings :<spoiler>[MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=falseReduceSystemMemoryUsage=trueDisableDriverMemoryManager=falseDisablePreloadToVRAM=falseEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=falseReservedMemorySizeMb=512VideoMemorySizeMb=9858EnableCompression=trueAutodetectVideoMemorySize=false</spoiler> My SPM prior to a CTD :https://i.imgur.com/PFAJVqP.png My SPM with enb Off :https://i.imgur.com/UrcXYiL.png Any advice would be greatly appreciated and any comment from others with the same system specs.
  11. Mangaclub : Cool. Thanks for your response, I looked in the ENB settings (shift + enter) and noticed Vignette was disabled so I slightly gave some thought to my card (ASUS GTX 760) being taxed beyond it's capabilities. I am not happy to see the problem, but I am pleased that it is a known issue. So I set : EnableLens=false and the effect has gone away. Thanks for your help through this issue, I usually just read the post for information, but I am glad Mangaclub and JawZ as MOD Authors contribute to the resolution of issue's that may effect our play through while using your mods. I will endorse both mods if I haven't already....
  12. @JawZ Great Mod, ELE adds a very clean light to the game improving my interiors tremendously. I took a look at your files for the LITE version. Within the Vividian install files we have the options to load ELE : ELE - FX Effects - Interior Interiors Interiors - Legendary Relight Skyrim Color Patch I have all of the above installed along with COT + Relighting Skyrim + Vividian. Are you saying that the LITE version is more current then the separate modules included with Vividian ENB? One more question, Everything seems to be running and looking good, BUT I have this Vignette that appears during cloudy rain or clear weather. I have enclosed a pic below. Is this an effect of the ENB that can be adjusted or some deeper issue. Vignette IMG Vignete IMG II
  13. Update : @Mangaclub The load order is giving me some issue's to this point, I guess I needed to learn a little more about how Loot and Mod Organizer resolve conflicts. I did not forget to load the Vividian Vanilla Patch like you recommended previously, (I failed to include it in the paste bin link) I am amazed how you are able to keep all those .ini files for your ENB organized it is tough to keep my different load orders in check. Great call on the Relighting Skyrim and ELE, it does have less conflicting issues. I have your cozy interiors folder downloaded and will try them out and give some feed back. My thoughts on ELFX : Pros : Great ambiance within interior cells, The lighting gives off more FX especially in dungeons. Cons : Too many plugins Load order alongside ELE creates some conflicts My thoughts on Relighting Skyrim : Pros : The light sources are more realistic, Light sources that previously did not light their area do now. Better compatibility, Cons : Less striking effects, (but still really looks good) Here is my current load order in case anyone needs something to look at while setting these mods. Load Order I will post some pictures as soon as I work out the FPS, I am currently running 32-60 fps. My goal is to achieve 40-60 if that is even possible with my hardware. If any one has some suggestions let me know. I am currently using the 4 cores 8 threads .ini files from the support files. (Pictures really do not compare to what I am seeing on my monitor) Thanks for everyone who helped me to think out load and get back to my play through.
  14. I think the lighting included in this ENB is awesome I linked some screenshots of what I mean, but pictures do not come close to what I see on my monitor. Here is a screenshot of Breezehome Vanilla Here is a screenshot of Breezehome ENB
  15. Update : @magnaclub thanks for clearing that up. Researching information for the Vanilla weather patch did not make things clear for me. I have added it to my load order. I have been using Loot to sort out my plugin load order for some time now and have always noticed some inconsistencies with where it will place certain plugins. After initial setup of Step extended the addition of mods and there plug ins require a re- run of Loot which then reorders again and sometimes returning an error in Mod Organizer (Potential Load order conflict) that always seems to involve the same mods from step extended. Here is my current load order. If any one with some insight on anything they see I would be appreciated the feedback.https://pastebin.com/Jtdngmy0 I have gone over my loadorder mod for mod this weekend and started placing mods where I felt they should go basing my decisions on what the plugin does. I have found that when Loot loads this set of plugins for ELE after these plugins for ELFX I will get the sky is visible in a cave problem. Manual placement of ELE plugins before ELFX. (As Shown Below) result in the game looking really really good and the fps between 42-60. So it does not appear to be the Merged plugin removed earlier, but the order in which Loot loads them for me. I want to run loot again but I have been backing up my load order in various ways to insure I can get back to a base. ELE-Interior Lighting.espELE DG-Interior Lighting.espELE HF-Interior Lighting.espELE DB-Interior Lighting.esp EnhancedLightsandFX.espELFX - Exteriors.espELE-Plugin - RS Light Color.espELFX - Dawnguard.espELFX - Dragonborn.esp
  16. Okay I got It. Update : I opened up the Vividian ENB folder in Mod Organizer downloads found these preset's ELE-Interior Lighting.esp ELE DB-Interior Lighting.esp ELE DG-Interior Lighting.esp ELE HF-Interior Lighting.esp Re started Skyrim and all looks as expected. I am going to re read What ELE actually is and does to make sure that I need : ELE-Plugin - RS Light Color.esp ELE-FX Effects Interiors.esp Also do I need to choose between these two esp's , or are both required????? Vividian-Weather Patch CoT.esp Vividian-Weather Patch Vanilla.esp
  17. @Magnaclub OK just so I am clear on this, I am going to re install Vividian ENB and rename it. You suggest that I use the installer to load : ELE Plugin - RS Light Color.espELE-FX Effects Interior.espVividian - Weather Patch CoT.espVividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.esp But replace :ELE-Interior Lighting Merged.esp With this :ELE-Interior Lighting.esp
  18. @Magnaclub First off every mod that I have added to this game has improved my play through 100% and when I thought it could not get any better your ENB (Vividian ENB - Weather and Lighting Enhancement - Vivid Color Version" just took it up another notch..........Thanks your work is impressive. Update : Reinstalled "Vividian ENB - Weather and Lighting Enhancement - Vivid Color Version" which included these .esp 's :ELE Plugin - RS Light Color.espELE-FX Effects Interior.espELE-Interior Lighting Merged.espVividian - Weather Patch CoT.espVividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.esp The missing cave roof comes back in the same exact way. I double click on the created mod "Vividian ENB - Weather and Lighting Enhancement - Vivid Color Version" in order to look at the available esp's and I moved "ELE-Interior Lighting Merged.esp" to the optional esp'sReloaded my save inside the cave and everything returned to normal expectations. Any suggestions on why this patch or esp has a conflict, and do I need this esp loaded or removed in favor of another:| I do believe I am getting close to playing this game again :)
  19. Update : I am wondering if the mods loaded for Vividian ENB (ELFX, COT, Patches) are conflicting due to my install. I uninstalled "Vividian ENB - Weather and Lighting Enhancement - Vivid Color Version" by disabiling the mod in Mod Organizer and removing all of the "Vividian ENB Install Files" from the Skyrim folder. *************** Disabled***************ELE-Interior Lighting Merged.espVividian - Lanterns of Skyrim Preset.esp *Vividian - Torches Preset.espVividian - Weather Patch CoT.espVividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.esp****************************** Left enabled ***************Enhanced Lights and FX ExteriorsEnhanced Lights and FX DawngaurdEnhanced Lights and FX Dragonborn Enhanced Lights and FX NoBreezehome.espProject Reality - Clmates of Tamriel-V3Climates of Tamriel Dawngaurd PatchClimates of Tamriel Dragonborn PatchAOS_COT3_1_patch.espLanterns of Skyrim-Allin One-Climates of Tamriel-default.esp * I re-installed my ENBoost files (d3d9.dll, enbhost.exe, enblocal.ini, enbseries.ini). Re entered Ruunvald Excavation and the anomaly is no longer there and my FPS stays at 60 both exterior and interior. * Could the Lanterns of Skyrim CoT .esp's be the ones conflicting? That will be my next test. @Nozzer Yes I doubled checked tomake sure the launcher was set to "Off for best performance"
  20. @Darkside & @Phazer11 You guy's are probably right that it is not an ENB issue but maybe a mod issue related to the installation of the ENB and all related mods. @phazer11 I turned the ENB off while facing the anomaly and it remained the same just less attractive. My reasons for believing that this is related to the ENB and or mods installed with it (COT, ELFX, and ELE patch) is because the cave that I entered had been cleared prior to the ENB being installed with just STEP Extended and my additional mods. This cave did not show this issue before and I only chose to revisit this cave by random choice. I have also played over 100 hours prior to becoming curious about an ENB (and for the record I LOVE ENB) I will go through my load order again in search of conflict later this evening when I can get free. @neovalen I followed the STEP Extended installation that included the Nvidia inspector recommendations, and the instructions to turn off AA and AF. I will check my ini's later as well because I did switch my edited versions with the ones created within the Vividian ENB Support Files folder. Thank you guy's for your quick response any leads are appreciated. I have read so much of what you guys have posted here since the day I joined.
  21. I have an issue that I was hoping to get some help solving or pointed in the right direction. I have a profile using Mod Organizer 1.2.14 that includes STEP Extended + COT + ELFX + ELE + additional mods. I have taken some time to read up on ENB's and decided to load Vividian 6.30 with brighter nights and interiors, ELFX, ELE, COT weather patch, and vanilla patch. Two things made me unhappy on first load : . Nights too dark I found a thread that helps my concerns with the darker nights by adjusting settings in the ENB GUI which works well, but the culprit may be a mod I am not aware of yet. . FPS took a big hit 25 exterior 45 interior I read the ENB Wiki and used the setting in the enbseries.ini EnableDepthOfField=false and the FPS increased to 38-45 exterior and 48-60 I decided to go to Ruunvald Excavation As I entered the cave My FPS increased while inside 48-60 and holding everything seemed to be running smoothly and the lighting was very good. Out of nowhere I approached another chamber and I noticed the sky showing through the top of the cave. I have included two images to indicate my issue. This is my mods list Load Order :<script src="https://pastebin.com/embed_js.php?i=mV3FcPfg"></script>
