  1. Thank you very much for your help, it worked!
  2. Redownloaded & installed, same issue. MO is version 1.2.11 Yes, actually I'm using the Italian version of Skyrim. I noticed this in SGD's file description: "[...] Localized version (English, French, Japanese, German) [...]", so maybe the language settings of the mod causes problems with other languages? If so, how do I properly change Skyrim's language? And more: any way to fix this without having to translate the mod?
  3. I forgot to re-enable CRF and BOYD, that's why Consistent Older People crashed the game. I got no more crashes until "Soul Gems Differ", at which point the game crashed again. During the installation of SGD, i chose "No" to "Are you using Requiem?", "sort-friendly and weighted" to "Mod Version Options" and "STEP Installation Options" to "Choose your install option". After that, it shows another page which lists all the options selected. I compared that list to this one and they're the same. Stucked again : ps: anyway, thanks for the help so far!
  4. I deactivated all the mod in reverse order, and activated 1 by 1 again. I get a CTD as soon as i enable Consistent Older People (I downloaded and installed "Consistent Older People 22 All NPCs CRF BOYD Compatible", as I had also BOYD). What now?
  5. Yes. I have a vanilla profile. Just tried launching it through SKSE in MO and no CTD, although I can't find any text about SKSE (the ENBoost's text still displays on vanilla profile, this should be because ENBoost is installed in the REAL skyrim folder so MO can't manage it, right?).
  6. I followed this guide to install SKSE, and the skse.ini is in the "skse 1 07 01" mod that the guide made me do. I am launching the game through SKSE's executable in MO (which automatically detected and added SKSE to the dropdown list).
  7. Yes, I tested it right after installing ENBoost and it started without problems (top left corner showed ENBoost text; no text for skse, but I don't know if it's supposed to show anything).
  8. Yes I have. No STEP:Core Patch, I wanted to use only STEP:Core.
  9. No red warnings on the Plugin tab, but here's the situation: - the HR texture pack's esps from bethesda are unchecked (i unchecked them and checked the corresponding bsa in Archives tab, as stated at some point in the guide; is this right?) - BWS.esp (Better Weapon Swing Sound) is checked but has a brush icon next to it (MO says it's a dummy, and suggest to uncheck it and let him manage the archives) - Traps Make Noise.esp is unchecked - all the other are checked Also, MO addresses a "Potential Mod order Problem", but i didn't let him fix it because I wanted to keep the order as installed. Some mod-specific instructions say to move the order of the mod, so i though to leave them as they are when not mentioned. May this be the problem?
  10. Hello, I just finished installing STEP 2.2.9 Core with MO, but now I get a CTD right after the Skyrim logo of the main menu appears. I need help from you to understand what may be the problem and how to fix it, because I don't have the necessary know-how to do it myself, so thanks for your attention. Here's the loadorder.txt: Here's the modlist.txt: Here's my system specs (this should be more than OK for the baseline): I followed the guide's instructions, installed all the mod listed except for "The Choice is Yours", did the Bashed Patch (2.N) and installed Dual Sheath Redux, Better Shaped Weapons and Forse New Idles in Skyrim (also from 2.N). The game was running fine up to step 2.C (I tested it after finished installing ENBoost), then I didn't tested again until I completed step 2.N. If you need any other information, just ask.
  11. So, after 2 reinstalls i began to think that INI tweaks were the problem, so i started testing that. Turns out that the problem was in step 1.F.2, precisely this: I relied on the bolded part, assuming it wasn't much a problem, but i was wrong. I though i could do that before installing the ENB preset, just so i didn't forget later. Now, before i get started with the mods intallations, i've just one more question: as i'm using loose vanilla texture files, do i extract all mod's BSAs files to loose files or do i have to extract just the textures from them?
  12. Renamed shaders bsa and the validation redownloaded it. Only thing strange about validation is that every time i do it, it sais that 1 file is missing and re-downloads a file of ~750 bytes. Anyway, i looked at my old STEP 2.1.1 and 2.2 backups, and i didn't have a VoicesExtra in there either. And it was working... EDIT: i also tried running skyrim before starting to mod it, and it worked. What is this VoicesExtra bsa supposed to do? Is It related to Dragonborn or Hearthfire? Because i don't have those dlcs...
  13. Hi all, i just started going through STEP 2.2.4, and already have a problem right after the optimization. I followed the steps until before step 2, doing this: - extracted, repaired, optimized and 7z-ipped HRDLC1, HRDLC2, HRDLC3 and STD (Skyrim - Textures) - following this - extracted, optimized and re-packaged Dawnguard - moved optimized Dawnguard.bsa to Data folder - removed HRDLC1-3 and Skyrim - Textures's BSAs from Data directory (as i will use them as loose files) - optimized vanilla BSAs - following this (i don't have "Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa" in my Data folder; made multiple cache checks...) - installed Skyrim - Textures.7z and HRDLC1-3.7z with Wrye Bash - made INI tweaks - installed SKSE - wrote this in skse.ini: - unselected HRDLC's corresponding ESPs files (as i don't need them while i'm using the loose version) Then i tried launching skse, but it crashes immediatly. I'm using Skyrim 1.9.32, with HRDLC and Dawnguard. I'm using this string in Wrye Bash for 7z: -mx=7 -m0=lzma2:d=32m -ms=on -mmt=7(read it here on the forums), and compressing stuff with LZMA2 and Non-solid option. Having a little ocd, the whole process drove me crazy, because main STEP guide isn't really clear on the order in which this things need to be done (as they are on 3 different wiki pages, which links each other multiple times). It's also a bit confusing on what to do with other mod's BSAs if you're using the loose version for vanilla textures: do i have to extract them entirely? Or do i have to extract just the textures, leaving the other folders in the mod's BSA? Thanks for the attention and the help, if you need more details just tell me!
  14. sorry, i didn't check the wiki guide >.< oh well, at least i tried
  15. Discussion topic: Skyrim particle patch for ENB by Mindflux Wiki Link The aim of this mod is to patch incorrect properties for a few meshes, which causes some objects to react to an incorrect category in enbseries.ini I haven't tested myself (actually too busy to play skyrim), but looking at the screenshots i though you might be interested. I experienced myself a couple of these bugs, and here's the fix!
