  1. Use spoiler tags or post log to pastebin and then link :) Check the log for: [00:00:00.130] Background Loader: Warning: looks like a simple error in Skyrim.ini which reference the bsa The "m" probably should be , in the ini and then you won't have trouble with TexGen.exe or your game starting. I bet once you fix your inis the game will start no problem as well
  2. Single LOD textures should be updated with TexGen.exe and overwrite any other single LOD textures from vanilla, mods or DynDOLOD Resources. TexGen.exe should be run before DynDOLOD.exe which uses these single LOD textures to build the texture atlas. The game may use both single textures and the texture atlas because of technical reasons. If single textures used for LOD are updated afterwards (because you installed/removed a texture mod that affects those texture) you can run TexGen.exe and then use DynDOLOD.exe in expert mode to update just the texture atlases of the affected worldspaces as outlined under "Update Texture Atlas" in the TexGen manual. Double check DynDOLOD 2.11 was installed correctly, e.g. that all files are updated and that..\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\ contains files like DynDOLOD_TES5_TexGen_copy_skyrimesm.txt DynDOLOD_TES5_TexGen_alpha_skyrimesm.txt etc. The log should shows something for sure, at least the loading of the esp/bsa and starting...
  3. Just as in the linked post, unselected all worlds it does not pass and then do them in a third pass or wait for next version.
  4. Will be fixed next version. See if it goes through if you do not select Dimfrost
  5. You are using a beta version of Mod Organizer. The error is directly related to the beta version. Report such problems with MO with crash log to its issue tracker. Make sure to not install DynDOLOD standalone into game or folders under control of MO physically or virtually.
  6. If you follow instructions and overwrite orders it doesn't matter if the LOD option from ETAC is installed or not as the generated output from DynDOLOD will overwrite it.
  7. Does DynDOLOD initialize in the game? Is it showing as active in the MCM menu? I believe the cause may be something odd in a nif. Next version will include a LODGen.exe that should print out which nif / block causes it so we can investigate further.
  8. No point in writing the same instructions again, it is all in the manual. SMIM even is in the video. It doesn't get any more descriptive or easier then this:
  9. You need to install the required core files from DynDOLOD Resources as explained in the installation instructions.
  10. The odd part is that the mentioned record is from SkyMills/Falls and points to valid base record. I had this trouble before once. For sure, if you install a mod and receive any errors while unpacking, those should be fixed as well. You could also try reinstalling SkyMills/Falls. Next version will also have another update using a workaround I used for a similar error as mentioned above many months ago, so maybe just wait for that - so you can verify the workaround makes the ignore message go away actually.
  11. Yes, it is not a good idea to install it there. I will make sure to point that out in the instructions. Will be fixed next version. In the meantime I think it should run through the first pass if you not select the two worlds aaasalem and aaasalemhill. You could later do a third pass with loading existing DynDOLO.esp after you installed everything from the output folder to a mod. Then just generate all types of LODs just for these two worlds.
  12. Your log shows a lot of lines like "Background Loader: Warning: " May have to do with MO and archive management. You need to fix those errors. You mean LODGGen.exe stops working and all its CPU utilization goes to zero when it is doing Tamriel?
  13. The correct course of action would be to fix the error in the mentioned plugin(s). With the current version 2.6 of FarmhouseChimneysFalskaar+Wyrmstooth.esp and Falskaar 1.2.1 I can not find any unresolved errors in the plugins What versions are you using?
  14. DynDOLOD.exe and TexGen.exe just look like TES5Edit when they start up until their respective option windows appear. TexGen.exe does not generate a patch file, it generates textures *.dds files to the selected output folder. I suggest to watch the updated included videos so you know how things look and how to use them.
  15. Just wait until the last LODGen.exe finishes by itself before closing DynDOLOD.exe and saving the esp. If you exit it while LODGen.exe is still running LODGen.exe may quit and not be able to finish generating static LOD. It will simply give up waiting after 10 minutes.
  16. See the update post - Is has a section called "What’s New?" and "The usual updates" and a bunch of "Changelogs" Yes, the 2.xx version generates LOD faster, regardless of low/medium/high. Though the higher the settings the longer it will take.
  17. See this post - Looks like a bunch of people have the same broken mod. I don't know which one it is though. in any case check the load order for errors in xEdit before generating LOD for it. Also check this video for help
  18. Yes it should be run as one of the last things. TexGen and DynDOLOD both scan the current load order to generate textures and LOD.
  19. If the OS freezes due to hardware issues, make sure cooling is sufficient. Set FasterCreate=0 in ..\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_TES5.ini but I doubt it will help. The majority of the work is LODGen.exe, the white on black command prompt window. You could try setting CPU affinity in task manager, e.g. remove it from some cores for the worldspace it runs longest for. You could try generating worldspaces one-by-one. Save&Exit, install output folder normally, then start DynDOLOD.exe with DynDOLOD.esp in the load order, generate next worldspace, merge/overwrite output folder with already installed files from former generation, repreat. Probably only need to do it for Tamriel, maybe Solstheim, usually the others will be too quick to matter. In any case if OS locks up, this is a hardware problem.
  20. Why would you even. Read the section "Uninstallation" in the included manual. However, creating a new game without DynDOLOD.esp and the generated files in the load order it can not cause CTD.
  21. See if this DynDOLOD.exe works If it ran through, check log for "Ignoring reference without base record ..." I would be interested in the mentioned reference / mod as it should never get that far without a base record. If you still get the same error, check load order for errors in xEdit first.
  22. Interiors have no LOD and consequently there is no LOD data that can be loaded. If there is no LOD data, DynDOLOD isn't active. Go outside. DynDOLOD can only be active when player is in the worldspaces that LOD was generated for, obviously.
  23. If you want to continue that save, try generating LOD with keeping SkyFalls/Mills still in the load order and introduce DynDOLOD to a save that still has SkyFalls/Mills active. If that fails you could generate just static/tree LOD and untick 'Generate DynDOLOD' on advanced and keep SkyFalls/Mills.
  24. Same thing though. Just right click their entry in the left window of xEdit and remove. Save esp's. Then update static LOD. Notify the mod authors so they can update their mod.
