SME stands for Skyrim Modding Essentials. It's a wabbajack list with all sorts of bugfixes, frameworks and tools that allow you to start modding Skyrim SE. It comes with DynDOLOD Resource SE, DynDOLOD DLL SE - Scripts and DLL, DynDOLOD DLL NG and Scripts 3.00 and xLODGen Resource - SSE Terrain Tamriel.
SME had a recent update and they updated Texgen. It works now.
I still want to thank you for answering 929669.
Hello all,
I'm kinda new to modding Skyrim SE. I'm on SE 1.6.1170.0. I am using SME as my base and I'm taking heavy inspirations from SSS and NGVO.
I can't open Texgen because I don't have the latest version. SME uses Version 3.00 Alpha 182.
On the DynDOLOD website, we are told to do a clean save before updating and this through the MCM. SkyUI has nothing in relation to DYNDOLOD. There isn't a DynDOLOD 'thing' in the MCM. Could it be that SME didn't generate any LOD so I can skip this step? There is no DynDOLOD Output nor a Occlusion.esp anyway.
My next question is in relation to DynDOLOD Patches: https://dyndolod.info/Help/DynDOLOD-Patches. How and where do I install this?
Finally, am I supposed to launch Texgen and DynDOLOD every time I add a mod with lods or can I do that after adding all my visual mods?
