SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
DiscipleDarkfriend replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Disparity does make it so that skills that certain races are better with level faster than others. This is the Starting level and XP setting in the Disparity menu. So it would counter the slow leveling experience somewhat depending one what race/class you choose. If I were you I would just alter the setting on the Uncapper settings, it is not very difficult and there is lots of info on how to do so on the web. -

It has a lot of conflicts with several mods in the list which in turn would require a bunch of compatibility patches which would increase the plugin count. I think if you wanted to add it you are going to have to do a lot of patching. -

Well I spent some time looking through weapons and I can find no issues with them. I mean the Draugr weapons are on par with the Orcish in some cases but so are a lot of others. In any case all of my weapons are using the values assigned by Weapons and Armor fixes remade, so I suppose they are intended that way. In all honestly I never end up using basic weapons anyway as they are seriously outclassed by most unique weapons. If they are much different, did you install another mod from outside the guide that might touch weapons? -

Do you mean the Ancient Nord Weapons? Which weapons in particular are overpowered? I want to take a look. -

Noted, I decided against it given there is no more support for the mod itself I don't think it is worth the potential headaches. -

Hey Guys, I happen to have a backup of Civil War Overhaul and was just wondering if there are any known issues with it and LOTD? I know how to fix the other conflicts but wondered if anyone else still had a copy and experienced issues. -

I also had this happen, it seems that something causes the ESF Giant quest to not always initiate. I have not been able to reproduce the issue on a new game so I can't pin down the issue. I will continue testing, In my case I do believe it was caused by updating a mod mid play. I can't say for sure but I would advise not investing too much into that play through until all is playing nicely. -

I had that happen once using bound swords, recasting the spell fixed it though. Which weapon is it that is only working on the left? -

Ineed is not covered by yot, if you want 1st person messages in Ineed you can turn them on in Ineeds options. :) If you want to be absolutely certain that YoT is working and it does in this setup but just for peace of mind, open up your load order in xEdit and look at Miscellaneous merged and drop down the messages area, it will show you if YoT is working properly, if you added a mod that overwrites it you can patch it easily. -

You should scroll down in the left panel to the same Form ID only in SRLE LOTD Conflict resolution. -

There are lots of errors in the games base esms. They are nothing to be concerned about. Only check the SRLE LOTD Conflict resolution for errors not the esms. I would strongly suggest using the guide as is for the most part, mods like Ordinator, Imperious and Disparity fix the severely lacking rpgs elements in Skyrim. -

Could they not just remove the Race records from the CR? I am pretty sure they are unneeded if they are not using either race mod no? -

Are you trying to remove Disparity and Imperious? Are you also removing Undeath? What exactly are you trying to do? -

Quick thing I noticed, on the Race Compatibility page we are told that the load order is Skyrim.esm "The correct load order for playing with Better Vampires is: Official DLC, including Dawnguard ... Unofficial Patches (if you use them) ... RaceCompatibility.esm ... RaceCompatibilityUSKPOverride.esp (only if you use the USKP/USLEEP) ... Custom Races ... Better Vampires esp" I don't know if there is a reason that we are to change the load order or if it is simply an oversight. -

B) It is better to just hide the ESP in the optional folder unless it is just an esp. Merge plugins has a tendency to not pull all resources from merged mods when it comes to textures and meshes. -

Awesome hopefully that will prevent any potential mishaps. On a side note, I just realized I typed perquisites instead of prerequisites. Behold the brain with no coffee!! -

I also missed the perquisites area until about halfway through the guide I had already set up most of it though someone who is not as familiar may not do this, perhaps making the yellow text bigger is warranted? Honestly, I do not know how I missed it, I must have been distracted by my cats or not enough sleep. :p -

NM I found it, it looks pretty cool but I don't have the slots for it. Perhaps I will give it a go on another play. -

Out of curiosity do you have the mods you merged active in the left panel of MO? Because the meshes and textures do not always get carried over by the merge plugins tool so it is a good idea to keep the merged plugins with meshes and textures active and just move their esps into optional. That is to my experience at least. I have had similar issues to yours before and found this was the cause. I don't know if this is the wisest of options but when there is a CR update I just load up the new CR with my original and look for red, merging/overwriting into my original the new records from the new CR. It has worked fine thus far. -

What exactly is missing textures? The load order is pretty much okay being left to Loot. It basically places everything where Darth has it for me at least. I do not see how load order could make textures vanish unless you have an esp that removes the texture points which would be odd. If textures are indeed missing this means that the textures files themselves are missing. It is possible that on some of the larger mods if you downloaded with manager that the entire mod did not download. With the larger files it is advisable to do a manual download. -

What I would do is backup the new CR and load up the old CR with the New one, rename the old one so you can use both. Once they are loaded look through NPCs and find Aela, look and see what is different in the Head Parts area. 0001A696 <Aela> "Aela The Huntress" Conflict Resolution: Use record from NPC Retextures Merged.esp then move ACBS - Configuration, Perks, Items, AIDT - AI Data, CNAM - Class, DNAM - Player Skills, ZNAM - Combat Style, DOFT - Default Outfit from ESFCompanions.espProblem Resolved Changes from NPC Retextures Merged and Enhanced Skyrim Factions - The Companions Guild to be Merged. These instructions should help you understand what the finished product should look like. If this does not solve the issue there is likely something else going on related to texture overwrites and you may need to export facegen files, this is unlikely however so hopefully this will fix the issue. -

The reason you disable it in CACO is because Ineed gives you this function already so it is redundant to have both scripts firing on the well and I am not sure but strange things may occur. As far as I understand it those instructions are for a previous build of Wildcat but still apply. The sections have been renamed in Wildcat but nothing too difficult to figure out. You are correct in changing the injury section and yes the guide shows plain numbers but it is in fact percentages. :)
