  1. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I've been all over the recent guide checking my work because I know its almost always user error I was on Step 2.2 with a .640 build for months so my load order got bigger. I deleted the game folder making space for another game eventually, so my .exe went to .1170. Downgrade patching didnt fix everything I worked on. I am in the arduous process of troubleshooting a lot of different things. I've went through in chunks isolating the problem mods, I have been testing on a new character knowing my last one was more than likely lost. I can see the .esl in xEdit but I cant load them to check or modify their records. I'll just have to turn them off if I cant resolve conflicts with them Any other foreseeable problems trying to repair a skyrim build? So far hasnt been horrible. Updating has fixed three ctds so far, only minor problems are left.
  2. Hey guys, thanks again for being so awesome and working for the community. Im currently on STEP 2.3, with SE exe .1170. I am having an issue with Kryptopyr's patch hub, when it interacts with skyrim conflict resolution. Both of these mods are a bundle of .esl flags so I cant see them in xEdit. When I have the atyourownpace-misc_TCIY_Patch.esp enabled I get an infinite load before the main menu. I know its not THAT extensive of a patch, but its a unique problem I haven't had the last couple years. Typically infinite load is being unable to find a particular file, or a patch patching itself. Step conflict resolution is supposed to be working alongside kryptopyr's patch hub for certain mods found in the list, in this case, TCIY being one of them. Ive checked my install instructions from the guide, the mod pages, the requirements, posts tabs, had a look for some self references in xedit in conflict resolution using the referencing records tab, moved load order in left and right pane around in MO2, reinstalls, havent had any luck. If I made some kind of mistake I dont want to make it again as I continue to build the load order. I also need help fixing this kind of issue, and what I could I even do besides just turn it off. The load order mostly step, Ive only added spells, redone the college, some stuff for unarmed, the bards reborn series and reqs (Though currently disabled for later, navmesh ctd with an HD texture pack from the mod page?) We're not quite at 2.4 yet.... is it possible something is wrong with the CR patch not that kryptopyr just posted an update last month? is it him or you guys or is it me? Is that particular esp redundant or not necessary? Is there way to unflag certain .esp(s) so that I can troubleshoot them? I just want a sense of direction.
  3. My game is repaired and I am once again toasting to you good sir. Will keep query strings in mind for the future. Welp Im sorry about double posting! I failed to mention I never got the latest AE update, because I was aware it would break USSEP and probably most other things. Im using AE version 1.6point uhhh whatever was before most recent. AS of october 2023. I consider myself an modder with intermediate knowledge and skill but will not be getting the latest update until I have a guide for how to troubleshoot that. Load order reaching over 500 Id rather be safe, rather have downgraded mods until it becomes a problem down the line. Pick one problem or the other. So far exclusively most recent files though. Thank you for your continued support and swift responses! Means alot really appreciate it
  4. I have been continuing to mod since completing the step guide in October of last year. Cant say enough about it its so fantastic. Recently while reviewing and installing some mods, I figured since its been a few months I'd check for updates. As of December 10th 2023, Arthmoor updated Cutting Room Floor to 3.1.16. I definitely completed the Step guide on October 23, 2023. I have been trouble shooting for a few days. I discovered, only when disabling cutting room floor and all of the ESPs that are flagged by MO2 as missing masters, that my game will launch. No other mods or load orders have given CTD at main menu when enabled. Arthmoor does not have a reputation of being a friendly user. I doubt he will make 3.1.15 available to the public. Is there anyway anyone could perhaps send me cutting room floor 3.1.15 so I can patch it into my current load order? Or perhaps someone can give me detailed instructions on how to modify the half dozen ESPs to make it work with the new version? Without it, here are the ESPs I have to disable, some of these are highly important and I don't want to continue building or playing without them. BetterQuestObjectives-CRFPatch.esp, Cloaks&Capes.esp, (Non Step) DynDOLOD.esp, HFE-CRF-Patch.esp, (Heartfire Extended Mod, Step) Landscape Fixes For Grass mods - Cutting Room Floor Locations.esp Occlusion.esp, SLSR - Cutting Room Floor Patch.esp, (Snowy landscapes in Snowy Regions) Step Patch - CR - CACO.esp, Step Patch - CR - CCOR.esp, Step Patch - Conflict Resolution.esp, Step Patch - Lighting and Weather.esp, Definately need these UltimateCollege_CRF_Patch.esp (Non step)
  5. No idea what I did wrong but that worked. The INI was correct. Still troubleshooting flickering lights though
  6. Thanks for your response! I thought I double checked the INI adjustments when I regenerated LOD yesterday. I will try again and report back
  7. Hello you incredibly generous modding team. I need your help. I followed Step guide V2.2.0 for Skyrim AE 1.6.1+ Etc and I am experiencing broken or duplicate textures throughout the world space. It happens inconsistently. The major areas where the bug exists are cities, roads, and the college of winterhold. Occasionally some rock textures will load in with low resolution. Sometimes city textures flicker and overlap significantly, for example I sometimes cant see the door to enter the white phial in windhelm. I also occasionally have flickering lights upon walking. When I was exploring around the northern coast of winterhold and saw whole sheets of ice having the bug as well, I got fed up and tried troubleshooting. Because of its inconsistent nature, the wide area it effects, the multiple different kinds of textures it effects, I have reached the end of my modding knowledge on how to fix this. I tried a clean install and triple check of many major mesh mods such as majestic mountains. I regenerated my dyndolod by starting that whole process again of xLod, Acmos, Textgen, and Dyndolod. I tried to check everything I could and everything looks good. The build is exclusively step, aside from three mods, which change the effects of races, standing stones, and a display patch for character creation. Nothing else visual. Photos for reference. Not sure how to share my ESPs or load order from MO2 or anything like that.
