  1. That worked! I was able to get past the initial loading stage, which is where I was getting stuck before, to the point where the DynDOLOD Wizard popped up. I haven't tried to actually run the program yet, but I'll let you know if I run into any issues when I do. Thanks so much! The support you give on here is absolutely legendary. You are a true gem of this community.
  2. Okay, my log file is attached. It seems to be pointing to the performance counters error even though I've tried the fix. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point, so any help would be appreciated. LODGen_SSE_Test_log.txt
  3. Hi Sheson, do you happen to have any advice for someone who has tried the above fix and is still getting the performance counters error during DynDOLOD startup? I've tried solution 01 from the page you linked 3 times now and I'm still getting the error. I don't understand solution 02 so I haven't been able to do that. I see the ini file they're referring to but I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with it. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm currently stuck on Alpha 75 while I try to sort this out.
  4. Thank you for the quick response! Messing with the MCM settings did help a lot, and also made my LOD a lot prettier with seemingly minimal performance loss. Don't know why I never tried adjusting those before... Thanks so much!
  5. I'm using DynDOLOD to generate an underside mesh, but no matter what I do I can't seem to stop it from poking through the regular terrain. I've tried changing the quality and position settings several times, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm attaching a screenshot to show the issue. It's especially evident on the throat of the world. You can see the lighter colored underside mesh sticking through the mountain, causing a very unnatural "banded" look. Can someone please tell me if this is the expected result, or if I'm just doing something wrong? The settings used for the screenshot are -1000 position and 5 quality, but like I said, I've seen the very same issue with the default settings and others that I've tried. Any help would be much appreciated. Edit: I realize the picture isn't very clear. I can take another one in clearer weather if the issue isn't visible enough.
  6. Thank you. I misread the message initially and was looking at the wrong log, my bad. The error had something to do with one of the .cgid files, so I re-ran the grass pre-cache and now DynDOLOD is running smoothly again. Thanks again!
  7. Hello again, I'm trying to use DynDOLOD 3.00 (Alpha 14) to generate LOD for my game and I keep running into this error: "LODGenx64.exe failed to generate object LOD for one or more worlds." It seems to run into the error when trying to generate object LOD for the Tamriel worldspace. I've searched all over but can't find anyone else who has encountered this error. Any ideas what might be causing the problem? Here's a picture of the error message. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks!
  8. Awesome, thank you!
  9. Hi there, I'm having an issue with LOD trees showing up next to the Dragonborn Museum in Solitude when using Alpha 13 of DynDOLOD 3.00. Specifically there are two pine trees right past the entrance gate of the museum. I've seen in the FAQ that this issue is covered in the "LOD trees show in child worlds / towns" section, but the manual seems to indicate that incompatibility issues with LOTD shouldn't be a problem because of the special "rules" file. I located the specific trees in LegacyOfTheDragonborn.esm, but they already have enable parents referencing the player, so I couldn't fix that as the FAQ suggests. I apologize if I'm missing something. I really tried to research my question before making this post but I couldn't find an answer anywhere. Let me know if anyone can help me diagnose the issue. Here is a pic of the trees from the steps of the museum: https://i.imgur.com/kJd33hp.png Thank you so much for all the hard work you do on these tools. It's amazing how much they improve the game, and how far they've come over the years. Happy Holidays!
