  1. My troubleshooting has been before following the guide, it all looks fine. After following the guide, you can see that the snow has been removed from the ground, but the weather is still snowy and some of the grass has the purple texture. Removing the Seasons of Skyrim SKSE and the other mods listed in the tutorial has everything working again. So my limited troubleshooting skills point to something having gone awry with my efforts to get this working. I am hoping to get guidance about where to go next. I did say, in the very first sentence that i did not where to start posting for help, so if there is a forum better suited, please point me in that direction. I have posted on the Seasons of Skyrim SKSE Nexus page, but have received no reply as yet. EDIT: tll made no changes to the purple grass.
  2. I don't know where i should post this, so i'll start here. After running the instructions here https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/xg1g30/simple_guide_for_installing_seasons_of_skyrim/?q=lodgen%20options&type=comment i started a new game via Skyrim Unbound and my start point was the Frozen Hearth in Winterhold. I stepped oustside, and this is summer in Winterhold:
  3. I had no issues adding the exe to Mo2, I've done that multiple times over the years. What tripped me up was not being able to install it in Mo2 like everything else, and then not being able to even install it pretty much anywhere else I did finally get it to work by removing the Mo2 meta.ini that I kept dragging along to every place that I tried to run the texgen exe from. I have never had a game mod that was so picky about where it could be used from.
  4. I keep getting this when running through MO2: TexGen [Main Instruction] Installation path not allowed. [Content] H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\ Reason: game data: H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\ Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message For qualified help and advice or to report a problem make a post on the official DynDOLOD support forum. [Exit TexGen] [Footer] Online Help | Support Forum | Copy message to clipboard It won't give me the option to set a path, and setting a path through MO2's "Modify Executables" option doesn't work. I tried moving the folder around, now i get this: [Window Title] TexGen [Main Instruction] Installation path not allowed. [Content] H:\DynDOLOD\ Reason: mod organizer meta.ini. Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message For qualified help and advice or to report a problem make a post on the official DynDOLOD support forum. [Exit TexGen] [Footer] Online Help | Support Forum | Copy message to clipboard Clicking that link doesn't give me any information about the meta.ini file. I removed it, but it still giving me that message. Been messing with this for hours and i'm getting really aggravated with the whole thing.
  5. I'm using MO 2.1.1 and FNIS 7.2 for Skyrim SE and it's installed properly. When i try to run it via the MO drop down, the box saying "initializing vfs" pops up, followed by the box that has the "unlock" button on it. That box is only there for a fraction of a second, then vanishes and FNIS never opens. I've tried to reinstall it, run as admin, checked the file path, etc. Completely at a loss now.
  6. You, sir/ma'am, are just awesome. Thank you so much. :)
  7. I've been using MO for Skyrim for years, and now i'm trying to use MO2 2.8.3 for SSE and it's reading files from my Skyrim data location even though it's set to read the SSE folder(s). So even though MO2 has nothing installed yet, the Data tab has all this junk in it from my other install. How can i clean this up so it's not trying to read from folders it shouldn't (and doesn't) have access to?
  8. Thank you kindly.
  9. If i use Bodyslide to make a body and armors for Profile A, then decide to make a different body and armor for Profile B, will the changes to Profile B affect Profile A? How would i keep the two body and armor sets unique to their own profiles?
  10. What concerns me (i might be a bit selfish here), is will the current iteration of MO2 function with Skyrim SE. If Tanin is happy to move to Nexus, then i'm happy for him, but i hope that MO2 will work with the new Skyrim so that we aren't "forced" into using the craptacular NMM until MO is assimilated into it or the Nexus team gets really smart and just replaces NMM with MO entirely. /end rant.
  11. I clicked the little blue planet icon, which took me to Nexus where i found a mod i wanted to download. Only I don't get the mod anymore, now my Task Manager is filled with nxmhandler.exe opening over and over until my PC completely locks up. I reinstalled MO and that helped for a day, now it's doing it again. I can still manually download mods and install them with MO, so i'm not completely buggered; just confused and slightly annoyed. Help?
  12. I would definitely love to LOOT functionality enhanced/improved. I use MO with FO:NV and i get a LOOT report when i hit [sORT], so i have a better idea of what's going on. I really miss that with Skyrim.
  13. That worked for 1.3.5. Thank you very much. :) When the LOOT issue with 1.3.6 is resolved, i'll remember to delete that file again if need be.
  14. I installed 1.3.5, and the LOOT sorts properly, but the error when launching is still there. Not sure how badly that can screw things up.
  15. I hit the [uPDATE] button on MO just a few minutes before making this thread. I've been using 1.2.8 since it's release; might have to go back to that version. I also tried the manual install option, but that didn't change anything.
