After a good few hrs of testingi found out what was causing it. When your using the mod Skyre and you select the Daedric Wrath in the conjuration perk tree at conjuration level 70 there is a buff that enables your conjured atronach to absorb 20% of its magicka or something like that. What the 20% buff does is treat Your char as being buffed so the atronach actually doesnt spawn.Its a bug which ill post over at the Skyre comments page. The way i fixed it was to use the Skyre Perk reset mod and reset the whole conjuration and only pick the perks i had before but this time dont choose the Daedric Wrath perk just select the perk below it which is 20% less powerful but atleast it works now

Does anybody know how to fix the Atronach bug where when you conjure nothing actually happens? It used to work but now it doesnt, Ive also applied fixes from nexus and it still dont work. Its a major game breaker if your a conjuration mage...

I found out what it was.....all of the ini tweaks have to be done from MO otherwise they dont work even if you go into the ini folder in C:\Users\My\Documents\My Games\Skyrim and tweak them there. I say alot of things and although ive dropped alot of step features i still use many of them, Im just annoyed as im spent literally weeks installing and no playing and i dont get much time. Thanks for helping.

I dont know ive googled and cant find anything so im stumped. Unless i find out quickly ill drop skyrim altogether and come back in 12 months. Does anybody on here know how to fix this issue??Farlo??

Getting popup textures mainly rocks and in the helgen dungeon where you fight the torturers (depending on what side you choose) the doors of the cages where the dead mage is pop on to the frame once im in the room,its like there is a delay in drawing some textures, Anybody know how to fix?

I installed STEP according to the STEP guide correctly,Like i said i will wait until there is a more stable version of Skyre with STEP, For now ive dropped STEP and im having a better game with SKYRE without it.

Why are people like you getting problems and people like Farlo are not getting problems yet you both use similar mods. Same can be said for Morphello and his load of mods. It just does not make any sense, im dropping STEP until a more stable SKyre version is posted and used in the future.

Here is my load order...im having no luck constantly crashing to desktop when i approach whiterun, always in the same spot near the farm. Im thinking of uninstalling step and trying some other mods that work with Skyre as STEP just wont work even with a new save. Ive spent weeks modding this and testing but im at my wits end now, all of it a waste of time. Also im using a GTX 690 gpu and a very fast pc so its not my rig. Taken from BOSS

Have you disabled the mods in STEP that other people have pointed out in this thread?Some of the mods seem to crash there game, do they crash your game? I only have Ars Metallica disabled, were there any others?Well looking at Morphello's posts in this thread he seems to have more disabled.Also Farlo can you show me the bottom of your load order please as ive had a couple of CTD's.

Oh i see, Economics of skyrim will change all of that. I tried it on a previous save and it was tough to make any money leaving it on the default level. Selling your items you get hardly anything for them, You can tailor the mod to how you want. Right im now starting my new game finally!!

What do you mean 6k at level 8? 6k of what?

Is anybody running Step,SKyre,Economics of Skyrim,Immersive armours and Immersive weapons? I have all of this setup correctly now. Ready to start my new game, gonna go with Breton full mage this time around on Master difficulty.

Sorry for ranting, I got it working but its took me over 2hrs, i still dont know what happened. Annoyed cause its bedtime now and its my turn to get up with my daughter in the morning which is like 630 am :-(

Can you explain how to do this text file thing please? Also Automatic varients files that i placed in the AV stable beta folder like bellyaches Varients are not showing up when i run the patcher, the patcher is empty.....I spend more time actually modding this game than successfully playing it and ive followed all the instructions/videos correctly. Even since MO came along there has been nothing but problems, NMM worked so much better, only reason i tried MO is because people from STEP.PDF were recommending using it. Another saturday night i guess with no gaming.....again.

Ok cool! I have a question..... When i install/uninstall a mod i always re-do bash patch. I also understand that i also need to re-do the AV Jar patch using MO/Data tab etc. Do i also need to re-do the Reproccer patch as well (re-proccer .jar)? Thanks

Ive installed step and a load of other mods including skyre all seems stable so far, Just going through Intro bit with new game. Has anybody tried automatic varients?

Did you find out what was causing this crash?

Does skyrim redone work with step?
