I have downloaded and installed COT weather patch numerous times on different versions of MO. Every time I install it for the first time I get a dialog box that says "mod climates of tamriel - weather patch not found", but if I install it a second time without deleting the first install from the left pane I dont get this message. Is this normal or am I the only one this happens to. keep in mind I get this message on the first install and not when I replace the mod on a second install. If someone would be kind enough to delete thier COT wheather patch mod from the left pane and reinstall the mod from scratch and tell me if they get the same message I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Edit. When I download my mods I have learned to always check the filesize of the mod in the MO download folder with the nexus page just to make sure the whole file downloaded. So thats not the issue.

When I try to install Sky UI, I get a dialog box that says NMM CLI has stopped working, and than installation failed (errorcode 3762507597)

I perfer full screen also. I changed to windows only because the guide says window mode. I'm still having crashing problems I'm trying to figure out. I just dont understand my crashing. I'm by far no expert but there was once a time where I had alot of mods activated in MO (the pre 1.0.0 days) and really had no idea what I was doing and figured out my install orders on my own and so on w min crashes. Now I cant even make it to riverton with just the portion of the guide installed up to User interface. One of the major changes I have made is I bought the Legendary edition off of Steam but dont see why that would matter. So now I have completly deleated My MO folder off of my comp and am starting over. I know its not the guides fault its something w my system. Well I guess my problem is for anouther post and shouldnt be clutering up this post. I would love some help tho maybe there is something I'm just looking over. My main question is if I want to go to full screen without relaunching MO I suold be able to go to skyrim prefs ini and change bfullscreen from 0 to 1 and leave isize H= 1080 and isize W = 1920. Just wanted to make sure this was right

Thats why I dont understand. I'm sending a shortcut to my desktop for ENB Manager and its not giving me the option to run as admin.If I hit the properties icon than advanced under shortcut it gives me the option to run as adin or run in seperate memory space. run in seperate memory space is checked but it wont allow me to check the run as admin checkbox. I dont know enough to just go changing things in the properties box

How comes if I right click DDSopt I can run it as Admin but I cant do that with ENB Manager?

I have all my cleaned masters in in one folder named clean masters. When I activate the cleaned masters mod I get a lightning bolt under the flags section in MO. Why do you think that is? Also when I open up the file tree I have a meta ini. in there. Should that be there? Edit. After running the game it crashed after the guardian stones again. I started MO and the lightning bolt was gone. after unchecking the cleaned masters mod and rechecking it the lightning bolt returned. Don't know if I will have time tonight but may have found the reason for my crashes. But why do you think I am getting the lightning bolt?

Thats the thing. I know its not your pack or everyone would be having the same problem. I was just looking for some advice. Its a pain in the butt crashing and than rebooting over and over. It would be alot easier if It crashed everytime. but it doesn't, it just crashes in the same exact spot when it does.

I am also having problems crashing, I have cleaned and DDSOPT everything the guide says too, I using windows mode with antialiasing and anisotropic set to off. I ran a totally clean game till I got out of Helgen Cave And made a clean Save. After I saved I started installing my cleaned Masters and Optimized Folders. I get as far as the COTÂ Weathers patch and I keep crashing I don't really think that it is that Mod. Every time I crash It is basically at the big waterfall off of the left side of the path after the first set of standing stones, It doesn't crash every time but lets say it crashes at least 1 out of every 5 tries, I have tried deactivating mods but it is hard to pinpoint it because its not happening every single time. I have even tried the Memory log but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I also ran TES5edit just to see what would happen but everything loaded in. The only thing I haven't done is Make a bashed patch because I just don't think I really need it yet. I'm afraid to install any more mods or go any further till I figure this out. Any advice on what I can do to fix this?

Before the latest update of MO I used to be able to rename the files I downloaded (The zipped version of the file and the meta version of the file). I know you don't recommend doing that but lets face it Mod authors don't always label their mod very accurately (Ex. how many authors label their SMIM patches, SMIM patch instead of said mod name SMIM patch). I like to keep a separate back up file with my downloads because after something goes wrong and you loose your main folder you kind of get tired of redownloading everything or sometimes things get taken off of nexus and its just nice to have it stored away somewhere. my question is now when I rename the zipped line of my download the meta line will disappear. I know I can query it and the meta will show back up renamed the same as what I named the zipped line but I'm wondering how accurate this is. I believe this is something that started happening because I know you wanted to make MO automatically delete the unfinished meta files in our download directories. I also would like to thank you for all the work you put into making MO and answering all of our questions Tannin I'm just trying to find out your opinion on this.

According to the guide I should be getting an installer that allows me to install a SIC patch and a Dawnguard dragonborn patch. It says Optionals(Via Installer in the guide. I have 3.5d. Am I missing something?

Well I got BOSS to recognize the 1st esp but cannot get it to recognize the small waterfalls esp. What should I do.

Yea I know its skyfalls plus Skymills now. I'm just not getting the esp that is listed in the guide

According to the guide I should have a SkyFalls + SkyMills Total edition.esp so that I can do the BOSS master list sort but I am not getting that esp when I install the mod. anyone know why?

Thanks a lot for the discussion you guys are having and the info I am getting form it. I definitely am not getting the 270x and am going to at least get the 280x. Any extra info you guys have is much appreciated. I am doing the transfer from console to computer gaming and have a ton to learn about specs and everything that goes along with it. Its just scary reading reviews because I know there are people out there who do actual reviews and there are people out there who just buy components because they have a certain name slapped on them. Now I have list of reviewers to go by. And I have to admit I am a lil worried about the heat. Between that and my surround sound my entertainment area gets pretty warm in the summer. How important is a good motherboard compared to a good video card. Mine is just a piece of crap MSI but does have a 3.0pci slot m(if that's the correct term going from memory). Am I going totally backwards getting a good video card first or am I ok. Considering I'm a single father who had my child full time its tough to just drop a lot of money at once on a good gaming computer even though that's what I would rather do. I wish I had a better understanding of balance between future proofing and price if that makes sense.

I currently have an AMD A10 Processor with a Sapphire HD 7700 Video card that is 1gb. My motherboard is just a piece of I guess junk MSI board If that's even the correct brand. Last year I talked into buying the HD 7700 card from a computer builder. It was a mistake I'm not happy with it. My A10 has a built in card and I swear it seemed equal or maybe a lil better. I'm looking to buy a new video card. The local best buy has a XFX R9 270X 2GB Model CBDC for the same price I could buy it on Newegg. Sorry I don't know how to post links yet. Am I wasting my money or is this a decent buy? Will a 2 GB be enough or should I hold out and buy a 3GB card which will of course be better but I'm not trying to sink a ton of money in my computer unless of course it will be a waste only having 2 GB. What do you think of XFX in general? I'm not really trying to start an AMD intel or NVidia flame war my understanding is if you pair up an AMD Pc with a Radeon video card you get a possible Boost. I'm far from a tech head I'm just trying to get a lil advice.

Should I be downloading a mod manager off the enb site?I don't really see specific instructions on the ENB page and am not into just clicking download buttons and installing crap I don't want or need on my computer. Someone please help me

Question #1 If I install the unofficial Hi Res patch MO tells me that it is a dummy esp and to disable it. So I'm guessing I can double click the mod itself and pull up the optional esp tab and move the esp into the top box saving an esp slot in my load order. If that is the case can I do the same thing with the moonlight tales esp if I use moonlight tales and Werewolf Mastery? Question #2 Just to make sure I understand this right can I do the above question with any esp that MO says is a dummy esp? Question #3 I unpack my bsas. will this have an effect on question 1 and 2
