  1. So I've right clicked on Climates of Tamriel, and there is no apply, so I go to create, but I don't have any separate converters, so I don't know how to proceed from there. However, I did see the sub directories menu and clicking on something random there turned the white checkbox red and I assume it would install properly from then on? Same with all the other mods that have the white boxes, but have sub packages in the box to the right?
  2. Okay, so basically, all the mods I had listed with the white boxes (instead of the standard red/green box) will actually install properly with BAIN? I just need to select the boxes on the right side of the installers tab, and install the old fashioned WB way?
  3. I forgot to mention, can someone clarify what BCF stands for? I think I know but I'm not certain, haha.
  4. I thought the purposes of most Wizards were to allow users to customise the mod without having to edit it for themselves - which would be pretty time consuming on some big mods of course. :P
  5. Yeah, that's what I thought. Hence me listing 3 mods (so far) that don't have the wand icon. I'm guessing my best bet for that would be to figure out how to auto gen those wizards myself? Kinda surprised Climates of Tamriel didn't have a wizard though - it said in the description!
  6. Forgive me for the newbish question, but where do you keep the BAIN wizards you've made for the mods? No doubt you've probably covered all the mods I have installed, as they're some of the most popular on TESNEXUS. Nice to see a community that sticks to Wrye bash though!
  7. So what would be the recommendation here? Has someone else already set out making wizards for these popular mods? Or am I kind of SOL and will have to write the scripts myself? Seems strange nobody would have attempted to make some kind of converter.
  8. Hey there, I've been using Wrye Bash during the Oblivion days to install mods, before the rise of NMM and such, so downloading mods and dragging them straight into the installers never caused me problems as all the big mods with choices all had wizards built in. However, I see this isn't quite the case with Skyrim as I have a few mods that have a white box (a couple have the wand, but most have nothing except the white box). All of the mods in question have fomod xml installer scripts in them, but obviously, I don't want to use NMM because of its limitations compared to Wrye. Question is, has anyone came out with a way of converting those .xml files to Wizards, or does it have to be done manually? I have no experience with script writing, so obviously that will be a pain for me. So far, the mods with the white boxes: With the wizard wand: SMIM aMidianBorn book of silence Enhanced Lights and FX Without: Winter is coming - cloaks Climates of Tamriel Enhanced Distant Terrain Of course these are just the ones I have so far, but clearly I'm gonna need to nip this issue in the bud pretty quickly.
