  1. I figured. Thanks for the confirmation.
  2. Recently my PC died and I've had to do a fresh re-install of Windows. I've gotten to the point where I'm re-installing SR:LE and I notice that the guide has switched to using LOOT. The problem is that the guide suggests LOOT version 7.0, but only 7.1 is available. I assume that 7.1 is going to work fine, but that the guide is just not updated. Is that so?
  3. Oh yeah. I hadn't thought of that. As far as the Light Armor thing goes. I noticed that even though every piece of armor I was wearing was heavy, my belt pouch (which I think comes from Bandoliers) was listed as Light Armor. That's probably what screwed it up. I switched it out for a different kind of pouch that shows at heavy armor. Hopefully, that fixes it.
  4. I've discovered two other weird problems with my game. The gate of Whiterun is surrounded by a wall of rain outside the city walls. Just the gate area. Nowhere else. There are no clouds, just a line of rain "cells". I'll link some screenshots. They are at 1920x1200 FWIW. https://www.yippee38.net/images/Skyrim/RainyWR1.bmp Outside, looking in. https://www.yippee38.net/images/Skyrim/RainyWR2.bmp Inside, looking out. https://www.yippee38.net/images/Skyrim/RainyWR3.bmp Another outside, looking in. Oh yeah. That rain persists over multiple in-game days, night and day, and if I exit the game and come back in. It appears to be permanent. I was just letting a Mudcrab beat on me to increase my block and heavy armor. I'm wearing all Dwarven (Armor, Helmet, Gauntlets, Boots and Shield), but I got an increase in "Light Armor". It also happened when I was wearing something like a "Brigand Dwarven Curiase" or something like that. I don't think it was related to the Conflict Resolution patch as I didn't see anything related to Dwarven Armor in there, but I did download that patch (04/20/2015) rather than manually make the changes myself.
  5. That was my suspicion, but when I'm fighting, I can't be paying attention to the dead bodies. ;) Cool. I look forward to 7 then. When in manual mode, I shutter the lantern using the hotkey (G), then I use the favorite key to stow it in my backpack. I'll wander along, and suddenly it will be on my belt and lit again. It seems to work manually in Automatic mode though. Not sure why it'd be backward. I posted on the Wearable Lanterns Nexus Forum (not that I expect any response).
  6. Everything seems to be working great, except for two little things. First, I'm getting a weird "sunflare" effect every once in a while. For example, every time I use the smelter in Whiterun, as soon as I hit "E" to bring up the menu, I get this large white spot in the lower-left corner. It's got a round corner and fuzzy edges (fades out at the edges). Either above it, or the top part of it is pink/magenta. It flares, then disappears very quickly; maybe 1 second. I've also noticed it near the travel cart outside of Whiterun. When I turn and look in that direction, I will see a very small, very bright white flare. It looks like sunlight reflecting off of a shiny bit of metal. Most times it is very small, and again, flares very quickly. However, I've noticed that riding from the tower (where the first dragon attacks) on the road back to Whiterun, it makes a large rectangle in that same spot. It's about the same size as the smelter rectangle, but this has a blueish edge. Both of them are about 1/4 of the screen in size and shape. Second, occasionally when I'm killing critters in the wilderness - generally Immersive Creatures critters - one or two of the bodies will disappear. For example, if I get attacked by 2 wolves and 4 wolf pup, there will only be 2 wolf and 3 wolf pup bodies. Neither of these is a big deal, though my machine did lock up once when I got the large flare from the travel cart. I'm just wondering if anybody else is seeing these issues. Oh yeah, one other weird thing. Wearable Lanterns. If I have Wearable Lanterns set to Manual, the lantern activates automatically. If I have it set to Automatic, it only activates manually.
  7. Yeah. I screwed something up. I deactivated all mods, then ran through it again, activating mods as I verified their install order. I also checked any TES5Edits, BUM rules, etc. When I got to the end, the only thing showing below DynDOLOD was ASIS-Dependancy. Must've been carelessness on the original install.
  8. Hmm. I wonder how mine got out of sort. I'll have to go through the guide again and look for things I've missed/done wrong. My bashed patch is just above DynDOLOD. Weird.
  9. BTW, I'm confused on the TES5Edit Scripts for DynDOLOD section. The first line of the instructions says: I have the following mods listed below DynDOLOD.esp: +RSPatch.esp +ASIS-Depenency.esp +PreventsAccidentPickUp.esp +RaceMenuPluginXPMSE.esp _GQJ_DG_vampiremulefix.esp _Complete_Crafting_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.esp +NPC_Overhaul_V_1_.esp +USKP_NPCoverhaul_Patch.esp +Immersive NPC in the dark.esp (I added that mod myself - not part of SR:LE) The instruction line above makes it sound like I just run TES5Edit and then click OK. However, it then says, "to load all plugins prior to DynDOLOD.esp". With those 7 mods listed after DynDOLOD and two inactive mods, I would have to manually uncheck all of those to have only the mods prior to DynDOLOD.esp. So, just to be clear, I should be unchecking those mods. Correct? Or should I be including all mods by just checking OK? I would also suggest that you change the wording to say something more like, "to load all plugins prior to, and including DynDOLOD.esp".
  10. Thank you very much Neovalen! I used the SR setup for a long time, and I'm enjoying SR:LE even more. It's nice to be able to play a stable, heavily modded Skyrim install without having to figure out all the conflicts myself.
  11. Sorry. Can't do that. I swapped out my bodies and some of the textures. With the stock SR:LE install, the skins on characters looked very blotchy and yellowy/orangy. I went back to what I was using when I did the SR install with: Dimonized UNP Sport Sexy Map Coverwoman (look 2) Everything looks good with that. I'm not sure why I was getting the blotchy textures with the Mature Skin Texture and Body. I went through it several times to make sure it was installed correctly, but couldn't get it to look right.
  12. I didn't even know that was a thing. Now I do. ;)
  13. I noticed. ;) Figures that you'd be on top of it. I was just trying give you a heads up. How the hell do you stay on top of all these mods? That's impressive.
  14. No sooner you add it to SR:LE, and the author updates to a new version. It's at 1.11 now, though the SR:LE guide lists 1.04. FWIW. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59721/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D59721&pUp=1
  15. I'm very happy with the darkness in dungeons and interior spaces without any tweaks to the SR:LE install. Outside at night is a bit bright, but I can live with it.
  16. This still occurs occasionally. I think it has to do with switching between two weapons and a shield. The two weapons will become split in my inventory (I'm using two war axes) rather than one listing with a "(2)" at the end. The second is not favorited, and won't equip. If I drop them, and pick them back up, they will show again as one line. Then I can use them or the sheild. At least I've figured out how to fix it.
  17. I thought I read somewhere that the fix was included, I just couldn't remember where I read it. Regardless, it's not working as it's implemented (on my machine). However, I found a post on the Nexus forums for the Brawl Bugs Patch that was written by somebody named "ErshinPL". He linked to a replacement dgintimidateplayerscript.pex file that basically makes it so you can cheat the brawl. It enables some of the broken things and that's fixed it for a lot of people. Since I'm not interested in cheating a win, I tried that, and it worked great (and she kicked my butt). FWIW.
  18. in the description for the Brawl Bugs Patch, it says: 1. The following scripts were affected in some way by the "Brawl Bug": - DGIntimidatePlayerScript - DGIntimidateAliasScript - C00VilkasScript - C00TrainerScript - MS11CalixtoScript (Questionable) - CompanionsSingleCombatantScript (Questionable) - BladesSparringScript (Most likely not affected, but included anyway) Every one of those scripts is in the SR:LE installation as part of Enhanced Blood Textures. Therefore, I think, the Brawl Bugs Patch should also be included. Or am I missing something? Is it already there somewhere?
  19. Last night I was playing my SR:LE install and I got to Whiterun and found that I am being afflicted by the Brawl Bug. I have installed a few additional mods, but mostly they are looks mods. The only one with anything other than textures or meshes is ApachiiSkyHair. Should I just install the Brawl Bug Patch? Is SR:LE supposed to avoid any of the mods that cause the brawl bug, and that's why it's not included?
  20. Something fixed it. I don't know what. I sold the shield I was carrying, saved, reloaded, then acquired a new one. Now it works again. <shrugs> Yes. I had bathed.
  21. I've been playing for a few days. My character is level 6. I'm still in Riverwood. I've been playing War Axe and Shield, but lately I've been unable to equip my shield. It shows as being equipped in inventory, but I see it on my back and not on my arm. Has anybody else run into this? Any suggestions on what the problem could be?
  22. I was in Helgen, which Frostfall describes as temperate, during the day.
  23. I suspected that the fire was the problem. I'll try it again. I also suspected that the freezing had to do with the fact that I wasn't wearing much. That still seems like the exposure happens really, really fast. I may have to tweak those settings. ;) Thanks for the quick response.
  24. I happen to really like the original start of the game. So I run through the Live Another Life start and choose the default start. I do not enable Frostfall while in the dungeon, because if I do, the horse thief dies immediately. It's a known problem. So, I wait until I get to the part where they ask my name (and without Live Another Life, you create your character). I enable Frostfall there, and configure it. However, I then freeze to death before I even get to the block. It takes about a minute, and that seems really ridiculously fast to me. So, after trying that a few times, I stopped enabling Frostfall. No problem. After the dragon attacks, I go to the tower and the dragon breaks the wall. I jump through the hole in the wall and land in the inn. As soon as I land, my health drains to nothing and I die. Anybody have any ideas why these are happening, or way I can correct them? Yippee38
  25. ....and backup your profiles before making any change. I finally had SR:LE fully installed and working great. I wanted better looking females, so I added some mods. When I did, I created a new profiel, and then I tested after adding each mod. At some point though, MO switched profiles on me and I started making changes to my SRLE profile (though I didn't realize it). So now, both of my profiles are screwed up. I really don't have any option, but to delete and start all over. <sigh> Yippee38
