I dont think I'm using MO2. I downloaded the v1_3_11 installer.

I'm using microsoft edge as the browser and I used the download with manager button. When I try to install it with MO a message pops up saying "Running external installer. Based on Nexus Mod Manager by Black Tree Gaming Ltd. Then a windows error pops up saying "Unable to obtain public key for StrongNameKeyPair." Then an MO error shows up saying "installation failed (errorcode 5)". I've also tried using "download manually" instead but the same thing happens when I try to install the archive through MO.

I've checked the new folders but they don't have a meta.ini

Thank you for the quick feedback. The Cleaned Update folder also includes a meta.ini document. Should I leave this as is?

​Hello I made a big mistake on not backing up my esms during cleaning and I used "verify integrity of game files" to gain the esms back. After this I followed the first case in using the ​Overwrite​ in Mod Organizer and deleted the TES5Edit backups but instead of having Cleaned Update ESM, Cleaned Dawnguard ESM, etc. I only have the Cleaned Update ESM that I've dragged to the top. This overwrite contains all the mentioned esms because I cleaned all the esms beforehand and didn't use the overwrite procedure until afterwards. Please tell me how I can amend this. If there is something I've not been clear on or if you'd like more details please ask away. Thank You.

Loot doesn't say they're dirty.

I verified the files and it said 5 files failed to validate. Unmanaged: Dawnguard, etc are back in the left pane. I ran skyrim through skse and it runs okay. Do I have to repeat any STEP procedures besides cleaning the dlcs after reacquiring them?

I'm not sure how to post my ini, should I just copy and paste the entire thing here? My skyrim is just the vanilla steam version and not the special edition. I disabled the High Res DLC after cleaning dawnguard, hearthfires, and dragonborn because the mod already includes all the textures.

Im afraid so, but dawnguard.esm, hearthfires.esm, and dragonborn.esm are still in my plugins tab.

Thanks for replying, sorry I thought I attached the jpg file that came along with the mod and I'm not sure how to upload it. Also this topic https://forum.step-project.com/topic/9859-optimized-vanilla-textures-hd/ seems to show the correct way to install the mod through MO. But I still can't see the dlcs in the left pane of MO.

What was the google drive file? Is it needed anymore for installation?

I've followed the STEP guide up to cleaning the dlcs and installing USLEEP from vanilla skyrim and I want to download this mod for myself https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57353 The installation for this mod requires the load order as seen in the attached photo that came with the mod, but I can't see Unmanaged: Dawnguard, Unmanaged: Hearthfires, and Unmanaged: Dragonborn in my setup. Instead I only see the installed textures, SKSE, and USLEEP in the left pane. Furthermore Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfires.bsa, and Dragonborn.bsa is present within my archives but are all under data instead of under Unmanaged:Dawnguard, Unmanaged: Hearthfires, etc. How do I make the dlc appear as it appears in the photo so I can have the proper load order for this mod?
