  2. Thank you. So that's what I've been doing...intuitively--dragging and dropping the new overwrite over the mod I created (as mentioned in post #7).
  3. I don't have Dragonborn or Dawnguard. As I said in my first post in this thread, I did a clean install of Skyrim after a 2 year hiatus. And yes I think I understand about overwrites. What I don't understand is I don't think anyone has specifically answered that.
  4. Not sure what you mean. When I first installed MO, all I had was Skyrim.esm and Update esm...both in the right hand pane...and the first two items in the left-hand pane--"Unmanaged: SMIM-Merged-NoDragonborn" and "Unmanaged: AHZmoreHUD." They were there when I opened MO for the first time. And, IIRC those two items are listed in the Enderal Launcher when I click on the "data files" button. All the rest in the left pane I installed. The game seems to be running fine. I launch Skyrim with SKSE and all my mods are recognized and seem to be working. It's the recurring Overwrite that concerns me. Go back, if you will please, and read my post #7. I think if I can just get some answers about what do about recurring Overwrites of the same content, and how to do it...if there's anything that can be done... I'll be happy.
  5. Rhar screensgot was before I updated. But I guess you can consider this question answered...at least as far as I'm concerned. I just reinstalled 1.3.10 over the top of the 1.3.11 and everything seems to be fine now. The 1.3.11 update didn't offer me a chance to install translations during install and didn't recognize that I was operating in English. Sorry to say I just couldn't understand the Magyar or ever remember much about the English interface, So it was either go back to 1.3.10 or Nexus Mod Manager.
  6. I just updated to the newest version of MO (1.3.11) and now my UI is in Magyar. There is no option for English. Is There some way I can change this?
  7. Thank you. I did create a new mod and named it much as you suggested. But it doesn't prevent them from reappearing. Every time I play the game there is a new Overwrite with the same contents. I don't know whether to create a new mod for these new Ovewrwrites or simply replace the original. I assume replace. Yes you're right...I have to check after each play. If I double-click on the new mod I get a tabbed window for each of the four mods I have installed. The only one with conflicts (2) is the Pastel Map Markers. I suppose I could do without that mod although I kind of like it. The conflicts are: ".../Interface/skyui/mapmarkerart.swf" and ".../Interface/exported/hudmenu.gfx" . I'm not sure what to do about this but wonder if there is a way to resolve this issue so that everyoned plays nice and I don't have to constantly make or replace my Enderal SKSE Output (overwrites) mod.
  8. Maybe this will help? Should a new mod be created for each directory level or just SKSE?
  9. Thank you for taking the time. I know this may seem like a "basic" question--one that seems obvious to you and other long-time users. And I think I understand the principles. But the issue is that the contents of the overwrite directory is limited to SKSE. And I have not loaded SKSE--it is written into the game. This is what is confusing me...at least at this point. So...If I understand correctly, all I have to do is create a new mod and move SKSE into it? I can do that...but from an abundance of caution and curiousity...is there any chance that doing this with components written into the game will break the game? Or disable SKSE?
  10. New to MO...just migrated from NMM. And I apologize if this question is dumb or out of place. (posted this in another forum, decided it was OT, but when I went to edit it...to delete it...I couldn't find an edit function) I am playing Enderal after a two year hiatus from Skyrim. I installed Skyrim clean and then installed Enderal. It runs fine. I have SMIM and MoreHUd installed. They show in the data files section of the Enderal lauvher. I set up MO because NMM (which I used for several years in Skyrim) won't recognize or load in the latest versions and won't load some mods. Specifically Skyrim Enhanced Camera and pastel Map Markers. MO installed them fine. And I like the interface and profiles seem to work The game plays fine and SMIM and MoreHUd seem to be working. My question...my concern, really...is that I am getting a warning in the upper right hand corner--"There are files in your overwrite mod," "No guided fix." When I go to my overwrite mod the only file in there is SKSE. I do not have a separate mod version of it installed--it is built into Enderal. So I am at a loss as to why SKSE is in the overwrite mod and confused as to what to do about it. the options and explanations are not clear...or maybe I'm just thick. In any case, I would greatly appreciate some help and/or any thoughts that you may wish to share.
