Fixes what I believe to be a development oversight. The ants are placed in the game; however, during development they seemed to have been forgotten about. Adds new locations and makes them harvest-able like many other vanilla insects. Adds new content/ingredients to the game besides the ants.(I could go either way on this one) Techangel85 (talk) 10:40, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
HD improvement of vanilla textures. Unlocks beards that were already present in Skyrim; however, weren't include in the vanilla game for whatever reason. Not new content, just unlocked content. Techangel85 (talk) 10:49, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
Adds new spawn points to vanilla. Adds new seagull sounds (that possibly conflicts with the other sound mod we have). Introduces new textures. Techangel85 (talk) 11:03, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
HQ retexture of vanilla brow textures. From same author as Beards so they fit perfectly together. Adds new brow sytles. (I could go either way on this one. Are the added brows worth not including this?) Techangel85 (talk) 11:08, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
If you install the mod and don't activate the .esp, won't you get the improved textures without the additional styles? (same for Beards). (if the new styles are a problem, let's just recommend that the .esp not be used) Kryptopyr (talk) 10:51, June 14, 2013 (MDT)
I think even new styles are innocuous enough not to fret over. Same with beards and hair. ~z929669Talk 11:39, June 22, 2013 (MDT)
The only thing that keeps me from voting a solid 'yes' on this mod is the differing outfits in the Temple of the Divines. This somehow makes it seem like the least organized of the temples, when I feel it should be the most organized and cohesive. This one detail tends to make me aware of the presence of the mod and breaks immersion. Overall, though, I do really like this mod, and it was easy enough to alter it to fit my preference. But I'm just not sure that I feel the default mod is really vanilla enough for Core. Kryptopyr (talk) 21:23, June 25, 2013 (MDT)
Better Male Feet only covers the male mesh, so I don't see what the difference is there. I'm unclear if FemFeet is actually still needed for this mod, given that FemFeet states in it's description that the latest version is included in XCE (this is assuming of course that XCE gets included in Core). If it is still needed, then this mod should only be accepted if we also add FemFeet to Core. Kryptopyr (talk) 21:09, June 25, 2013 (MDT)
Is an improvement over vanilla. Changes texture colors. (I could go either way on this one) Techangel85 (talk) 11:41, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
While the vanilla mesh does seem to suggest a guppy, the bright coloration of these fish just feels out of place in the cold climate of Skyrim. Kryptopyr (talk) 17:30, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
If we're just wanting a texture replacement this author provides these textures in a separate mod that is strictly a retexture. Thecompiler (talk) 06:22, June 12, 2013 (MDT)
I changed my vote based off Core. Packs should include their own character replacers and body mods. These type of mods should not be in Core for compatibility reasons with packs. Techangel85 (talk) 22:59, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
Seems to me it doesn't use the HQDLC textures as a base Thecompiler (talk) 06:24, June 12, 2013 (MDT)
Only if there is no other alternative. What does SR use? ~z929669Talk 15:22, June 22, 2013 (MDT)
If you are wondering, SR doesn't use this mod, mainly because other mods in it (All-In-One Face, Mature Skin, Better Males, Better Makeup, among others) overwrite it, and SR uses a high-res warpaint replacer from the same author as XCE to replace warpaints. Still, considering that AIO Face and Mature Skin require UNP or another female body replacer, and that Better Males is a body replacer, there's reason to keep this mod. WilliamImm (talk) 21:08, June 22, 2013 (MDT)
Unless we are going to replace these elements with what we're doing in SR Solist (talk) 21:05, June 25, 2013 (MDT)
Vampire eyes are covered by the dawnguard optional of Eyes of Beauty, and Neo basically copies over the vanilla head textures for the vampire head because of personal preference. Falmer eyes were replaced as well, but the mod that did it (Improved Eyes Skyrim) was taken down. And really, that would be the only thing that we'd use if we follow more of Neo's guide. WilliamImm (talk) 21:46, June 25, 2013 (MDT)
On the fence here, XCE is very good vanilla replacer but if core is going to be a base for packs... I know for SR I got rid of it. Neovalen
HQ improvement of vanilla textures. Adds a few new textures. (for me, this is a yes; however, there are other eye mods out there so we may want to put it in the pack for compatibly purposes) Techangel85 (talk) 23:17, June 10, 2013 (MDT)
Not necessary ~z929669Talk 15:22, June 22, 2013 (MDT)
