NSutR RRRE Patch for "No Snow Under the Roof"

So I'm at this section of the Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition guide:
 

No Snow Under The Roof

the optionals there is an unpacked esp file. I get the notion I'm either supposed to stick it ino the "No Snow Under The Roof" archive or make it an archive on its own. As I don't want to get stuck with an unexplainable problem later, I'll rather want to make sure I do everything by the book now.

What am I supposed to do with the "NSutR RRRE Patch.esp" file downloaded from the link in Optionals?

Put into into a mod folder named NSUTR - RRRE Compatibility (or similar) and activate it is likely the best way.

 

The other not as good way is to just drop it in the NSUTR mod dir.

Doing it the first way Neo suggests means it's easier to change and remove optionals if you need to. I always used to always merge everything like the second option Neo mentions, but now do it the first way, especially when doing new installs.
