[Witcher 3] An annoying setting that cannot be found.

Has anyone else ever been annoyed by the walk/jog toggle being reset on save reloads?

 

You know the case, you are near the edge of a cliff and save the game for a later date then reload the following day and assume you're going to take a step closer when Geralt hurtles forward and plunges over the edge, all because the damn walk/jog toggle has reverted to default again.

 

I, and apparently the rest of the Internet, can't seem to find a permanent setting for it. Have you?
