I used to use AFT as my follower mod. For STEP I used EFF because I thought I might want to take an army with me sometimes and it's what is used in the STEP pack. I'm re-thinking EFF because I liked the functionality of AFT more. Can I swap them out? I know I would have to release my followers, save game, uninstall EFF, loot and bash, resave game, install AFT, and loot and bash. Am I missing anything?
