Creation Kit -- Why is it in SR:LE?

There's a section in the SR:LE guide that talks about setting up PapyrusCompiler.exe to only run in 32bit mode, and I'm having the same issue as some others on Win7 with getting the SDK installed properly. I'm still pursuing some of the potential fixes (the Win 8.1 version will be my next attempt), but I've gone through the guide a couple of times and I can't find any mention of using it for anything.

 

If it's not used, why is it included at all? /confused

For 99% of users this is not needed. It only applies if you are going to make script edits in the CK. If that doesn't seem like anything you will be doing you can safely ignore that step.
