TurtleClerck Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I'm setting this up and I get two options and I don't know which to use. AMD Radeon 6600M and 6700M Series (0mb)AMD Radeon HD 6620G Series (0mb)
0 GrantSP Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Typically any card with xxxxM is found on a laptop/notebook and those listed as HD xxxxG are for desktops. The actual number may be slightly different but if you version falls within that series, use that one.
0 TurtleClerck Posted March 30, 2015 Author Posted March 30, 2015 Ok thank you. I have an HP notebook so I'll use the M series? Why would I have both? Sorry I know nothing about the technical side of these things. Why does it say 0mb? From everything I've looked up I was under the impression I have (1536mb) 1.5g vram and I have used this as a guide to installing step core. I would like to set up so I can benchmark but I have no idea what I'm doing.
0 GrantSP Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 No idea why it says 0mb, presumably to cover all options for those cards, 1mb, 2mb, etc.I haven't used this tool so I can't say for sure.
