FreeMortal Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 The ENB_Manager I have (latest version I believe) is just in a .jar file. I have no option of running it as an admin. Seems to work anyway though judging by the fact that it moved all the files I selected when I pressed "activate". Confusing though. Did it work right? If I have to run it as an admin, how do I do that with a .jar file?
GrantSP Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Have you had any error messages prompting you to run it as admin? If not then don't worry about it.*.jar files could be looked on more as a set of instructions for your Java runtime, than as an 'executable', so that's why Windows wont give you the option. So long as you have permissions high enough for the file operations in the desired folder, you should be fine. PS.I saw that manager and wondered about using it. What are you impressions? Any good? 1
FreeMortal Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 (edited) No error messages of any kind so far. But I have skyrim installed into d:\games\steam to avoid permission issues. I like the Manager so far, but I haven't used any other so have nother else to compare it with. Create a profile, add your files, click activate, and it zips along... I'm using d3d9.dll method.
