Mod Organizer lost all my mods after PC crash

For some reason seemed my PC crashed (I don't know if it was because of Mod Organizer or not, it refused to leave sleep mode, which never ever happened to me before) while I had Mod Organizer open, and when I restarted my pc all my (+-230) mods where gone. I restarted my pc again which then went on to repair my hardisk and place my mods back in Mod Organizer (I'm not a computer expert so I don't know what really happened there, I had never seen it before). When this was done I opened mod organizer and all my mods where back, but every mod was deselected/uninstalled for all my profiles and I had almost lost my almost perfectly balanced setup. Luckily I had made a backup of both my modlist and my loadorder earlier today so I could revert back to that and seemingly no damage was done in the end. I don't know whether this was caused by mod organizer or if my PC just flipped (I never had this happen before) but I felt like I needed to mention it.
I have to admit that I cried a little when I saw that all my mods where gone

Doubt it would have been MO. I had that same issue of not leaving sleep mode and it turned out to be a combination of power settings and a bad memory stick.

 

MO not seeing the mod directory when you rebooted could have just been a function of that.

Thank you for your awnser, I doubted myself that it was MO's problem, but I felt that I needed to mention it just in case.
