bitdman Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Are any of you able to play the game in crossfire mode? Is it stable ? I want to get another HD 7870,but not if crossfire has to be disabled . What say you guys! Balztathewalz?
0 venkman781 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I play with crossfire enabled on the machine in my signature. I can't say I've had any stability problems that I would blame on crossfire directly. Now, the dual gpu vs. single gpu debates are many, and there's plenty of considerations to be made before making the plunge (e.g. power supply output). Just my two cents.
0 bitdman Posted July 5, 2012 Author Posted July 5, 2012 venkman781, Thank you for your two cents. Have you tried disabling crossfire to see what changes if anything at all?
0 venkman781 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 No, can't say that I have tried it. I'm sure that one of my 6950s would do okay with Skyrim, but if it ain't broke...ya know?
