Can I skip a few mods I dislike from the main procedure? What about adding some I like/

Question

I'm new to STEP, and wanted to ask if I go with the STEP:Core patch, then I go and install all the "core" mods, but then I see some mod I know I dislike, then is it possible for me to skip it?

What about when I go through the "core" mods, and then I see a mod I really love, but it's at the Extended categorie.. Is it OK to install it?

How strict is this system?

Hi, as i am also new to step ,but i can say this...if doing either the CORE or extended STEP, both patches come with a read-me, in that read-me is a list of all the mods that the patch includes/covers, any mod on that list for either patch, would have to be in your load order or the game will not load.

I did a full Extended STEP, Yes every single mod no matter what , (came to around 103 ESM/p"s ?) on top of that i added in a bunch of mods ..(Skyre, AV , ELE  ...) and now i have 197 ESM/p's and a completely stable game. Well except for the fact the weather sense thingy for Frostfall is not behaving.
