Preview DDS plugin not working

How do I know if it's enabled? I don't see any dds previews anywhere

go into the data tab in the right pane. find the textures folder and just keep opening the leafs until you find the textures you are looking for then right click and hit preview.

Ohhh, I thought you could preview from the left pane in the filetree view. This is significantly less useful.

In the left pane you can open a dds file but it will open with your default program. It is better in the Data tab because if you have multiple mods that include that particular texture then you can flip through the different textures to compare them.
