Purple Fluffy Pine Tree Issue

I have gone through each section one at a time. This is a new one which is surprising considering the last thing I installed was Gameplay and there don't seem to be any tree changes in it. Anyways, here is what I am seeing:

There is model in one of your mods that is missing a texture or isn't loading the texture... rename your meshes folder then reload and you will see the trees back in their natural color...

If you are not familiar with CK you may have trouble finding the correct model to delete.

 

I have custom hair models that does not belong to the game with textures that also does not belong to the game, here is what happens if i remove those textures.

 

 

It is either a tree mod or a landscape mod with added trees. tree mods can also be under a flora overhaul.

Which mod manager are you using?

 

Did you follow STEP to the letter? Quite a few mods have VERY specific installation instructions.

 

Uninstall one mod at a time in reversed order and keep testing. At some point you will find your culprit. I suspect Trees HD, as this mod has specific installation instructions.

I followed it to the letter including the detailed ones. I may have made a mistake on Trees HD, so I will go check that out now.

 

EDIT: You were right. I followed the guide and removed these files:

 

landscape/trees/Vurt_Pine01.dds

landscape/trees/Vurt_Pine02.dds

 

I didn't remove the meshes folder though. My bad :(

Not to worry, it's easy to make an error like that. I've reinstalled STEP so many times now that I just remember little things like that :D

What ENB do you personally recommend?

Skylight ENB, but the version that is on Nexus is well outdated. I am currently testing the new version, that is near finish now as far as I know. Aiyen would need to confirm.

It is. Just working on some weather stuff as well which is taking up all my fine polish time atm. But I hope too get around to it this week.
