LavaBit suspends their services

LavaBit, provider of - possibly - one of the most secure email services, was froced by American government to suspend their services. All due to data encryption, that was protecting the users privacy and email contents.

It's very sad that the government of the country that once claimed great independence and glorified freedom of speech and right to one's privacy has turned 180 degrees :(
