I followed the guide pretty much word-for-word...with the exception of some TES5Edit instructions that had already been fixed by authors, and leaving out a few mods.
Now in-game I get completely random CTDs. One I have found happens all the time. When I loot Jyrik Gauldurson in  Sarrthal for the College of WInterhold quest I get an instant CTD when I hover over the Writ of Sealing. I would assume this is a mesh or a naming error from a mod that might replace this item?

It may be the case that i've removed something without removing something else but everything (for the most part) seems to load and work fine.
There are a few things as well though:
1) When running SUM, i get "Error gathering packages ....somthing can't remember the rest" referencing automatic variants
2) IG the favorites menu is still skyui, not categorized favorites menu.
There are probably a few things that I have forgotten as there usuakly are, but I can add those if needs be or i remember.

The issue with Jyrik Gauldurson Writ of Sealing is fixed!
What I did was I opened TES5Edit, and selected all bethesda esms, all unofficial patch options and all book covers Skyrim options. (Unofficial are not actually needed..its just what i did)
Ok so once everything had loaded, I navigated to book covers skyrim>books, and selected the "Writ of Sealing" entry that was relevant to Jyrik Gauldurson. Nothing was red so I assumed there was no problem, however in the column for Book Covers Skyrim I found a row that was different referencing the model: Note19.nif So I replaced this with the skyrim.esm entry.
Loaded the game up, hovered over Writ of Sealing on Jyrik Gauldurson's body and it did not CTD!
Just thought I would post this here in-case anyone else runs into this issue!

Ok so i found that all books cause a crash when trying to view the mesh, so I would assume Book Covers Skyrim is having conflict issues with something. I uninstalled Book Covers Skyrim and all CTDs have been fixed (as far as I can tell so far) except for a few freezes on loading screens and when sprinting through open areas (which I would assume is textures)

I followed the guide pretty much word-for-word...with the exception of some TES5Edit instructions that had already been fixed by authors, and leaving out a few mods.
Now in-game I get completely random CTDs. One I have found happens all the time. When I loot Jyrik Gauldurson in  Sarrthal for the College of WInterhold quest I get an instant CTD when I hover over the Writ of Sealing. I would assume this is a mesh or a naming error from a mod that might replace this item?

It may be the case that i've removed something without removing something else but everything (for the most part) seems to load and work fine.
There are a few things as well though:
1) When running SUM, i get "Error gathering packages ....somthing can't remember the rest" referencing automatic variants
2) IG the favorites menu is still skyui, not categorized favorites menu.
There are probably a few things that I have forgotten as there usuakly are, but I can add those if needs be or i remember.

The issue with Jyrik Gauldurson Writ of Sealing is fixed!
What I did was I opened TES5Edit, and selected all bethesda esms, all unofficial patch options and all book covers Skyrim options. (Unofficial are not actually needed..its just what i did)
Ok so once everything had loaded, I navigated to book covers skyrim>books, and selected the "Writ of Sealing" entry that was relevant to Jyrik Gauldurson. Nothing was red so I assumed there was no problem, however in the column for Book Covers Skyrim I found a row that was different referencing the model: Note19.nif So I replaced this with the skyrim.esm entry.
Loaded the game up, hovered over Writ of Sealing on Jyrik Gauldurson's body and it did not CTD!
Just thought I would post this here in-case anyone else runs into this issue!

Ok so i found that all books cause a crash when trying to view the mesh, so I would assume Book Covers Skyrim is having conflict issues with something. I uninstalled Book Covers Skyrim and all CTDs have been fixed (as far as I can tell so far) except for a few freezes on loading screens and when sprinting through open areas (which I would assume is textures)
