World Children of 0505D41D does not match expected 3504D41D

Question

Posted (edited)

I'm lost on this and searched the forums for a similar problem. I have NO idea where texgen is getting this form ID number. This is my mod so I don't really understand what the issue is. All I can think of is that the 35 might come from my LO index but that should be completely irrelevant.

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which TexGen log and debug log to upload when making posts.

There is a problem between a worldspace record and its children records in the plugin the full error messages should mention. The issue might be obvious when checking things in xEdit (if it is able to load the plugin). If you need help with that, upload the plugin.

Well I don't know who or why or how but when I just reran TexGen to get you the full log it was able to run through with the same plugin - no changes made. So....? Guess we'll move on - fyi, the plugin loads perfectly in Xedit, CK and Game. No weird conflicts with numbers in any of the worldspace/children records. Hopefully it was just a fluke. I'll come back if not, as I'd hate to tell my users to ignore an error like this or have them file false bug reports.

Thanks.

Thanks.

If the error message does not show anymore it means something changed in the load order or plugin.

The logs from the last run with the error should have been already in the log folder. While the debug log is now replaced, the normal log should still contain the complete error message.

Plugins loading fine is just a troubleshooting step. Checking all worldspace records and their immediate children would have been the next. Tools or game are not crashing or throwing does not mean there isn't/wasn't a problem. This error used to put xEdit into an infinite loop when accessing the records.
